Hm, I have listened to a lot of interviews American stations do, and I get the impression that Americans tend to think music was invented in the US. But Jake is on another level. Just wonderful.

Broken is epic! It is the sound of so much more than one man/boy and a guitar! About half way through.

who fingers relates back when the french would cut two fingers off captured English soldiers so they could not use longbows. Hence English soldiers would hold two fingers up to the French. A major battle the English won with archers as Agincourt in 1415 hence it is sometimes called the Agincourt salute. However this story may not be true as it seems unlikely they would release them, and apparently they just killed them instead (in which case I suppose you might as well fight on to the bitter end)

two fingers means fuck off! pardan my french :)

jay carr well yes, that is what it means in the story about the French too, however I have since heard the story may not be true, on the grounds the soldiers would simply be executed, however that is not in my opinion enough to invalidate the myth, as it could simply have been used to remind the French of the devastating power of the English long-bowman. Also no alternative explanation is offered whatsoever so they are hardly in a position to discredit that story when they have no better alternative. I think it is credible enough. But yea, it does essentially mean fuck off.

more like they are the best ones, not saying that they are bad actually I'm a big fan, although I think there is no better musicians than British artist. excluding pop

***** I know a lot of Americans think the British invasion was an American invention, but I'm truly grateful for the gift, and Jake, here, proves that its a gift that keeps on giving. Thanks!

baum7des7lebens7 Rock and folk are kinda on their last legs in the U.S., we pretty much have to import music that doesn't fit the pop, rap, or country mold. We have a few alternative and folk artists make it in the U.S., but the best rock and alternative comes to us via the British Isles...in my opinion. Jake Bugg, Royal Blood, and Wolf Alice are a few of my favorite "new" artists, and they are all imports to me. I really like what I've heard from Ruen Brothers, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from them as well.
