You guys need to consider that there are some breeders in the United States that do get their medical in the border from the United States and Mexico border and it’s cheaper for us to get C-sections up there than it is in the United States. For example, I can get a C-section for my dog for $300 versus in the US, it’s about $5000-$10,000

They're making it onerous to travel by car from Canada to the U.S. with your dog, so people will just not do it. Too bad, we enjoy dropping down into the states for a day trip (or longer) with our dog, have lunch somewhere, do some casual tourism... spend money. Now we'll do it less, if at all. Before we used to consider where we'd take that 3-7 day road trip.. maybe Vancouver Island or the Okanogan or down to the Oregon coast, something like that, but the thing is, we have options. If you put hurdles in front of us we'll obviously take the path of least resistance and spend our money there.
