The CDFW Fall Creek Hatchery plays an essential role in helping repopulate Chinook and Coho salmon populations on the Klamath River post dam removal. In addition to the excellent water quality found at Fall Creek, this modern hatchery, featured in the video, utilizes several innovative approaches to optimize salmon production and conserve these unique fish. Modernizing hatcheries and moving Klamath River salmon hatchery production to Fall Creek Hatchery are priority actions in the California Salmon Strategy for a Hotter, Drier Future.
