Love the eclectic wardrobe styling; the everyday outfit looks that aren't cohesive like your typical dance company! The styling brings the act character to each dancer! Omg 😮 the Gotye video popped up in my recommendation & I was obsessed so I subbed. This one gave me chills. Dance was my first love.. I did it from 3 to 14, I was going to get my pointe shoes & my dance teacher told me I needed to lose weight. I was 14. I was NOT overweight whatsoever. But I struggled with anxiety & depression so I quit. I regret that to this day. I thought I was going to be a ballerina. Dance was everything... So I just love this! They are incredible!

I'm so sorry that happened to you at such a difficult time and age. I am with you! I danced a bit longer, until around 20. The first college I attended I did so as a dance major, but ended up leaving because of the weight issue - I had lost so much my family and friends were worried I had an eating disorder. It still wasn't enough for the school, so I started to believe I was a failure because I couldn't "give myself an eating disorder like I needed to". The dancing didn't last much longer... But I LOVE great choreography and this is a brilliant modern example.

Really, ANY EXISTENCE AT ALL. People like that make excuses to why they do what they do... truth! They're reflecting their own issues on the dearest of hearts... Im sorry you both had to endure that type of behavior by people WHO following what has been taught to control others, So they can feel empowered.
