the CDL training program does NOT satisfy the requirements for the ELDT or does it satisfy the requirement of 180 hours of class per the February 2o22 federal mandate for CDL class A

Hey there, thanks for reaching out! There are companies that will sponsor a work visa, but the company I work for requires the applicant have an American DL for 12 months prior to applying to be eligible. So yes, but not at Prime right now. All the best in your search partner!

I just got my permit yesterday and informed my recruiter but she told me that there arent any open training positions right now, which is understandable, but she also said it probably wont be until late summer. Is that normal or should i keep calling like once a week?

That’s a great question! 😁 I am not sure the legal requirements in Canada do I’m not sure how the training programs are administered 🤷🏻‍♂️ can you come to the states and test?! Dual citizen?!

lol he obviously siding with getting your Cdl at a company. No way you can convince me, you get better training going to a company vs going to a school. And it’s definitely not 5-10k. Most high paid companies to work for rather have drivers fresh out of school then driver fresh from a company that gave them their Cdl. 😂
