This is the best one I’ve seen very specific and well spoken to understand every component to pass this Pre-Trip. I’ve been searching for a video that gets in-depth on Pre-Trip this is it.

I Just passed for my Class B CDL. This video is definitely worth a listen through and through. I took it four times, but I feel comfortable and that I can teach it to someone else. If you are still trying to pass it, go ahead and keep trying. You’ll get it. If you passed, congratulations! You guys stay safe and stay defensive driving.

This is one of the most informative CDL Pre-Trip inspections I've seen on video, these individuals give direct statements and descriptions on what and where to inspect with all of the different components of the vehicle setup that would be inspected.

Can you confirm how accurate this video helps with pre trip? Getting ready to apply to a cdl course and I have been studying this video for a good minute now, and I am wondering how helpful it actually is. I know the school will probably cover a lot of different information besides the pre-trip.

Man I live in Atlanta and I'm studying for this....... This is a lot to remember, how do you all remember this word for word. I used to be a diesel mechanic I understand all the vehicle parts with no issue but trying to remember how to describe each part like the way she is saying, bruh that is going to be hard.

I thought for the trailer tire inspection the required tread depth was 2/32 of an inch and 4/32 of an inch strictly for the front tires of the truck. Was I mistaken?
@KerringtonFiles4 ай бұрын
That is correct 4/32 of an inch for the steer tires and 2/32 of an inch for the rest of the tires.

You will have an automatic restriction and if you want to get it removed you will have to take the test again in a manual truck or take it in a manual the first-time if possible.

Me either. But that’s why I had to learn. I don’t think they ask everything. Each state is a little different. I definitely learned the main parts especially engine oil, coolant, oil levels, suspension parts, and inside of tire.
