Now that you're back, let's talk about how the Genex, a group of Machines and Friends, can bridge into the Ghoti Synchro Fish strategy. It's actually quite simple - just make a Level 6 Synchro. You see, Arionpos, Serpent of the Ghoti can banish any Level 6 or lower Fish from your deck on summon, and when you banish Psiics, Moonlight of the Ghoti, you get to Special Summon it and tutor another Ghoti monster. While this may not seem to add all too much to the Genex strategy, I love that it gives the deck a bit more oomph during the opponent's turn, as adding the additional threat of a Synchro Summoned White Aura Whale or Ghoti of the Deep Beyond just hits harder when your opponent is already struggling to get over a Arms of Genex Return Zero. It also gives the deck an alterative gameplan in case Repair is disrupted, even if you have Sky Striker Mecha - Eagle Booster to attempt to protect it and make it unaffected by card effects! Short and sweet writeup today, but we're in the home stretch to close out the month with one more profile that features the new SUDA Support!

Glad that i can still surprise you sometimes! It was definitely tough to find another way to use the new Genex since their new post-TW01 gameplan is so straightforward, but I'm happy this actually turned out to be decent!

@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy those new Genex, beside spamming Synchro negates, can also handloop 5 But just realize Arionpos can be easily make which got helped by Undine

Sad that we couldn't get more games of having to deal with actually well used interruption besides the Witchcrafter one, but it's nice to see how well both strategies end up working together to establish a good board with nice hand advantage.

That's fair; Genex is just a very fragile theme with such a dependence on one monster to function, so heavy disruption is the bane of its existence. Hopefully the TW themes get further followup at some point to flesh out the new playstyles a bit further.... but at least they can all do something now!
