Ah that makes me mad! You ROCK. We all have messages like this but we put ourselves out there and many people that make comments like that do not do videos. There are a lot of unhappy people out there who think they need an outlet for their anger and frustration. Anyone who works with/for the public is an easy target for those folks needing to vent. KZbin creators are especially vulnerable because the ones spewing hate and discontent are rarely held accountable. I worked in the healthcare field for decades and have experienced this myself. The only way I have found to deal with it is to shake it off and let it go. As long as we’re doing the best we can and being mindful of others that’s all we need to do. You’re doing just fine, Cori, don’t change a thing.❤

I know….I know you didn’t ask them to leave, simply remind us all there is that option…but you did it so kindly. People can be so hurtful and unkind and downright unnecessary and extra - I struggle to understand this but you graciously picked yourself up, KINDLY explained what you’re doing and why (and that you “needed” to do that🙈🙈🙈) and moved gently into your next masterpiece. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for ALL of that and everything else you put yourself out to do for us crafters…please know that you are immensely appreciated and LOVED!!

This person with the negative energy, is she envious?? I think so!! Lovely Cori, for about 3 jears, I´ve been looking for tutorials/videos about junk journals. I discovered many wonderful creators, but let me say, no one´s teaching and explanation is so perfect, so pleasant and so well-done than yours... It is always a pleasure and a joyful day, when you show your creation. I could listen to you all day long 😊 These ephemera, these colours, the methods how you things put together, and how they look at the end - these are the most beautiful things, that I ever seen with journals. These clusters.... WONDERFUL, enchanting!!! 💫 And now, after such hard and difficult days and weeks, that you go on and fix these wonderful ideas and peaces, for all of us too, that´s remarkable and so strong!! I feel with you with all my heart - and I thank you for all your videos, they are really something special. I had in the cirkle of arts several teachers - no one of them was such a special person. I LOVE everything you create, I LOVE your authenticity and I´m happy to see more - just as you are 🙌 Lovely greetings from Germany ❤

Granted I have been papercrafting for 25 years and mixed media 8 so you can imagine if I came at this without that how much more help I would need.I don’t think it has anything to do with age, adult or child if you don’t know how to do something you have to learn it whether from a teacher, a book or now we have utube but you are still being taught from a teacher of some sort. You were born to teach. I love your calm but descriptive voice and how thorough you are because even if I think I know something there is always more to learn. I can't believe that people actually make these kind of mean comments. Like, why? I have been crafting for 30 years and I learn so much from you. By the way, you handled that in the most classy way that could ever be imagined. I love you and your videos. You are awesome and appreciated!!

Thank you very much. My intent was truly to explain why I teach the way I do as my process is intentional... though I freely admit that I often fumble through 😊

You are one of my favorite KZbin sites! On any given day if I check Cori, Gayle, or Ms E I will find something awesome! If I had any complaints it would be wanting 2 videos from y'all every day. Hey, a girl can wish right? LOL Stay you always, love everything about your channel!

Dear Cori, I recognize the teacher in you, since I’ve been one myself voor +40 years. Always thinking of both starters and experienced crafters. And you are an excellent teacher! I hope you can keep that in mind… thanks for your fantastic videos. Jeannette (a JJ starter).

What? Pffftttt. First, why criticize and waste all that time? Turn it off and go eat a Cheeto or something. Second, they’re simply talking to hear themselves speak. You pay no mind. You do you and you do a fabulous job of whatever you set your mind to. Also, This is so simple, I love it.

Hi ori, sure am glad, I began with a couple of signatures because they are definitely fatsos! I’ve also made the two file fillers, and I can see that I’ll only make 3 signatures, in order that they will fit inside the outside cover. I’ve got a ways to go before making the cover, however, I wanted to tell you, this has been a very entertaining project to work on. I’ll probably give it to my granddaughters because it’s filled with animals. Thanks for creating this and showing us how to assemble this delightful book.

@@CoriDahmen Vintage Emporium 180gsm cardstock. wondering about brand names being deleted but craft and consortium's are double sided, maybe a knock off but I am late to this party and the Tim stuff is unavailable as you said.

Regarding the person who felt like an idiot. Apparently that person slept through school so cannot recognize a true teacher when actually faced with one. Keep calm and carry on. Those with overwhelming natural “brilliance” should be smart enough to keep quiet and figure things out for themselves if so driven.

Дорогая Кори, пожалуйста а можно ваши размеры элементов указать как это будет в сантиметрах..... Мне так сложно переводить из дюймов в см, я ужасно путаюсь..... Если это возможно.
@CoriDahmen10 ай бұрын
В настоящее время у меня нет линейки с сантиметрами, но я поищу ее и как можно скорее поделюсь размерами выреза и надреза.
