Memorable train route which were anticipated to change or will improve but never happened . Worst train route in southern railways. 1) Ideal time travel between MAS to GPD is maximum 1 hour. But this takes 2 hours during peak time 2 and half hours. 2) Train would be diverted to LOOP line every time express train comes and overtakes and train would go as slow as tortoise move and delays as much as possible... 3) Even because of goods train, PASSENGER train will be either forced to go in loop line, or delayed for extra time 4) mostly train would be halted in minjur (gets halted for 10 mins , Ponneri (10 mins), Ennore (10 mins) , Trivottyor (20 mins minimum - evening time worst atleast 30 mins) and finally none other than the great bottle neck of BASIN BRIDGE STATION - decides whether train will go further or delay some more 15 mins to 30 mins time due to EXPRESS from GPD + ARAKONAM ROUTE, and also from Chennai Central via GPD or ARAKONAM 5) REQUEST TO RAILWAYS - Better remove this route and provide facility for goods train and express trains to North India so that people will go earlier with bus route or even walk.... 6) Late night travel, day travel pregnant womens, kids, health problems, BP patient, Sugar patient pls avoid travelling in this route. Already several million people shifted to city due to this pathetic condition of train route...
