സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യാനന്തര ഭാരതത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ ദേശീയ പതാകയെ നിലത്ത് ചെളിയിലിട്ട് ചവിട്ടിക്കൂട്ടി അപമാനിച്ചവർക്ക് അവരുടെ കരങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് ദേശീയ പതാക ഉയർത്തുവാൻ എന്ത് അവകാശമാണുള്ളത്. നമ്മുടെ ദേശീയ പതാകയുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് കാവിക്കൊടി നാട്ടണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞവർക്ക് നാണമില്ലേ അവരുടെ രക്തം പുരണ്ട കൈകൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ പവിത്രമായ ദേശീയ പതാക ഉയർത്തുവാൻ. രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ബഹിഷ്കരിക്കണമെന്ന് തുടക്കം മുതലേ പറഞ്ഞവർക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കുവാൻ എന്ത് അവകാശമാണുള്ളത്. വെറുപ്പും വിദ്വേഷവും രക്തക്കറയും നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സിൻറെ ഉടമകൾക്ക് നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കുവാൻ എന്ത് യോഗ്യതയാണ് ഉള്ളത്. നമ്മുടെ മാതൃഭൂമിയുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തെ ചതിച്ചവർക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലും അവകാശമുണ്ടോ? ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർക്ക് വേണ്ടി ചാരപ്പണി നടത്തി സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര സേനാനികളെ കെണിയിൽ പെടുത്തിയവർക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ എന്ത് അവകാശമാണുള്ളത്? സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത ചെറുപ്പക്കാരെ മസ്തിഷ്ക പരിലാളനം ചെയ്തു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിൽ നിന്നും ശ്രദ്ധ തിരിച്ചുവിട്ട വർക്ക് നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ എന്ത് അവകാശമാണുള്ളത്? സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തിട്ടില്ലാത്തവർക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ അവകാശമുണ്ടോ? അറുപത് രൂപ മാസ ശമ്പളത്തിൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാരുടെ ചാരനായി ജോലി ചെയ്ത സവർക്കറുടെ അനുയായികൾക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ എന്ത് അവകാശമാണുള്ളത്? നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനു വേണ്ടി പോരാടിയ രക്തസാക്ഷികളുടെ പിൻതലമുറക്കാർമാത്രമാണ് നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ആഘോഷിക്കാൻ അർഹതപ്പെട്ടവർ. പക്ഷേ അന്ന് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനുവേണ്ടി പോരാടി രക്തസാക്ഷികളായവരെ മാറ്റിനിർത്തുകയും അന്ന് രാജ്യത്തെയും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തെയും ഒറ്റിക്കൊടുത്തവ൪ ദേശീയവാദികൾ ആണെന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് ഇപ്പോൾ കപട നാടകം കളിക്കുന്നു. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമരകാലത്ത് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കള്ളന്മാർക്ക് വേണ്ടി നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തെ ഒറ്റിക്കൊടുത്ത ചതിയന്മാരായ ഇവരെ എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കുവാൻ പറ്റും. ഇവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ ഭാവിയും സുരക്ഷിതത്വവും എന്തായിത്തീരും എന്നുള്ള കാര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കാനുള്ള സമയം അതിക്രമിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭാരതമക്കൾ ഇനിയും ചിന്തിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇവരെക്കൊണ്ട് രാജ്യം സർവ്വനാശം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
