2:43 there's a slight deformation in the rim. Based on my experience, these tyres are okay for straight line road use in wet roads and are slightly better than Michelin's shitty City Street pro which is a big thing for a company like Ceat. So as long as there is no cornering in wet roads it's fine.. No issues during dry conditions but don't expect excellent cornering grip due to the tread pattern. The Pirelli Angel City scooter tyres have been the best scooter tyre I've used so far both wet and dry.

Another marking found on some tires, both car and motorcycle, which you don't mention, is a "valve core circle", which is often a red or yellow circle. This marks the lightest point of the tire circumference, and is meant to be lined up with the valve core stem to make balancing easier.

Buddy, I'm confused between ceat milaze and ceat zoom d for the rear tyre of my tvs jupiter. I currently am on MRF nylogrip zapper on the front, which has a similar pattern as the ceat zoom d. If i go for ceat milaze(blocky pattern) will that pair well with the regular wavy pattern on the front nylogrip? Any other suggestions?

Yes no problem should arise. Many people use that way. But please tell me onething, I am a ceat user, I have ceat zoom D in both rear and front tyre, I have never skidded off due to heavy braking or whatsoever, cause I use front disk of my access more than rear brake. Can you please tell me that MRF gives the same feedback? I was thinking to switch to MRF but I am hearing many things like it has poor wet grip and skids while braking sometimes, is it true?

@@nyctophilecat nope buddy, I've never faced any problems with the mrf. But then again, I'm very careful while applying the brakes, and I never jam the brakes or pull it very hard. The only reason why I'm going for/considering ceat cause it's vfm. I can get it for 1.1k, while MRF is close to 1.5. I'm also considering Apollo actizip, i heard that's pretty good

The ceat zoom d as well as the mrf zapper scooter tire has reverse tread pattern. The curve of their tread is in the opposite direction of the wheels rotation.

I had same issue with my acces 125 disc model..that its front tyre was replaced with michelin tyre with correct direction after some kms..i had shivering handle above 40 kmp_ 55kmph range..so i checked with suzuki service centre and all for any bearing or handle issues..bjt none of it where ..there and we and service representatives were had no clue what the issue is...aftr some days we had observed that all other access tyres with michelin are put opposite of the direction marked which were fine for them and when we changed to opposite of the ichelin tyres direction the problm was solved...still idnt knw how the opposite direction is fine and crrct direction is making shivering...do anyone uses michelin tyre for acces have faced my issue or do check which direction are yours (very curious) Front tyre access disc

@@nyctophilecat I got them for both front and rear and interchanged them when the rear got too worn out 😅.. My front is still a worn out milaze but now I have a jk on the rear, don't remember the model tho. Even tho jk is knobby, milaze had more grip on bad roads and muddy areas. The only problem I faced with milaze was that it was too prone to punctures, which wasn't really a major issue for me since puncture repair is readily available everywhere.

mrf is always ahead than ceat. Mrf tyres comes with medium soft rubber where as ceat has hard rubber. I would suggest mrf over ceat. But maxxis tyres for scooter is value for money choice. I have bought maxxis M6061 tyre it has solid side walls which makes the ride comfortable. Alse M6061 has different tread pattern which is multi purpose tyre for road and mild off roading. It handles rain water better. 0.7mm tread thickness.

How many noticed at beginning 0.00 the sportztourer hesitates to say something 😁 Being a Ceat zoom user I can say these are good tyres but not great. Dry and wet grip are good when the tyre is new but as it age (mine is close to 3 years old), the tyre has become quite hard and minute cracks have started to develop. There is a noticeable reduction in grip levels. Those looking for high performance high grip levels please look elsewhere !

I am using Ceat GRIPP 3.00-18 as rear tyre on my Suzuki MAX100R for almost 3 years, it's the best IMO. I'm planning to use Metzeler ME 22 3.00-18 as rear tyre on my Splendor Plus in the future.

My maestro edge were running on ceat zoom d. It was stock tyre from the company itself. The rear tyre only lasted 6.5k kms. I think it is too low. Then i switched to appolo, now my maestro clocked 9.8k and i think the appolo looks like new itself. Talking about front tyres. It is running in ceat zoom itself. It weared more than half. I guss it will last atleast 13k. Also this tyre produces less grip. We have no confidence while riding with this tyre. If you are running on non tared road. Never go for this tyre. This gives zero grip on roads with small stones and mud. I wont go for this tyre again. This was my experience with ceat zoom D. Thank you.
