WRT to this mod; The mod maker hasn't updated the mod in years and has abandoned it for some reason. CBA broke it and he hasn't updated it or given the mod to someone else to maintain. It works but mostly in local play (like if you're running Eden Editor thru a LAN mp session)

Controls seem to be broken for me. Sometimes the camera doesn't move at all. Sometimes it shoots off at lightspeed in a random direction, sometimes it gets stuck orbiting something and other times i can only control it with the keyboard and not the mouse?

Gcam is not for MP. Use zeus in MP or a spectator mod

i would love to say that this camera mod works for me but everytime i do literally anything with it it freaks out, sends the camera 200 miles away, moves the camera too fast, lags the movement so it doesnt function with a simple roll-over camera shot Anyfixes with the camera doing any of this or does the camera simply not work with modern arma now adays This is also with no other mods so its vanilla so i have no idea whats going on

Same, camera moves at 1000 mph, wayy to fast sensitivty, not enough control buttons, camera does whatever it wants to half the time, ect, ect.

I am not sure what causes that. But try and use GCAM with different mod sets to see if something is effecting it

Is there a way to follow an object from a stationary position? whenever i follow an object it snaps to that object, and I can't record it from far away while following. If anyone knows please let me know!!

2 options. Either use keyframe animated camera. Or with the dlc SOG Prairie Fire there are cinematic tools you can use

Or pause time after focusing on your target and move the camera where ypu want it

How come my GCam is really slow even when zoomed out and when following an object it's really choppy/laggy? like a jet or helicopter?

Usually a conflict with mods. I am not sure what causes the issue 100%.

Use a recording software. If you have a newer nvidia card you can use shadow play. But there are other options too
