There's no free shuttle between the airport and Cebu City center. The myBus charges P40 before but now it's already P50 between the airport and SM City Cebu. But myBus operates on many other routes as well within Metro Cebu area. Since myBus is partly owned by SM, most of its routes always include SM mall (there are 3 SM malls in Cebu: SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City and SM Consolacion) as one of its destinations. The farthest route myBus operates is SM Consolacion, about 20 kilometers up north from SM City Cebu via Mandaue City and Anjo World Theme Park in Minglanilla down south, about 18 kilometers away.

The reason that is free because of the frontliners working at the airport. myBus company was actually contracted by the LTO 7 to offer free rides to all frontliners in Cebu. However, they don't refuse anyone (passengers included) from riding the bus as long as their destination is SM City Cebu.

That's only because of the LTO-7 program due to high gas rates to assist our frontliners. The free shuttle bus at the airport is not normally operated.
