I don’t understand why all these new homes have outdated kitchen, bathroom designs. I would suggest they look at Toll Brothers home designs. You should have pantries and high end appliances included with the price.

Don't say that. Filipino homes are built stronger and just fair enough of your money's worth. We build homes with concrete walls not hollow wall boards and floor boards. We're more updated, we use metric not the outdated feet measurements.

actually this kitchen is more modern and sleek looking compared to the toll brothers which is more old school design. though it doesn't have any cupboards above the counter but it's still elegant and clean.

@@sphinx1020 almost all concrete walled houses in the philippines are built too narrow,the steel is not installed to any first world standards, eg the way steel is tied or the terrible tack welding would mean compulsary demolition orders in first world countries. as a for instance here in new zealand if you use hollow block then fill them the minimum block width is 125mm (5 inch), the blocks have to pass a crush test standard as well. then the amount of steel and more importantly the way the grade of steel, how it is tied and bent all need to adhere to specific standards. then we come to the wiring of houses. most wiring installed is 2 core wiring where again first world countries use 3 wire cable as an extra safety because it have both ground and neutral. i have seen many builds in both manila and cebu and to be honest we build our own houses and i pay to have all construction inspected and videoed as it is being done so i can approve or insist it is done correctly. too many houses are wired by unqualified people, blocks laid again by unqualified people. i admire the work ethic of the philippines people but there is so much scope to build things better just through better work practices.
