Spectacular !! Saw him in Toronto the following year - 2004. An outdoor venue on a hot summer night. He had just turned 59 yrs a few days before. Played for 90 minutes, not a minute more. Let an old guy like me get home early, off to bed. Absolute highlight of my life to see this musical genius in his finest form.

"Utter rubbish" is not exactly a succinct reply to my observation. You do not know the full story behind my comment, which is based on personal involvement as a music promoter for over 21 years. I can only express my admiration for Van as a musician- when he's on form and can be bothered to interact with the audience.
