La vache, ce disque écouté au moins 1000 fois !!! Dédé, mon idole des drums vu en concert x fois aussi. Pourquoi, mais POURQUOI ne pas avoir continué à produire ce Funk démoniaque ?!? Comme avec "Look Out", le premier LP de "Bad News Travels Fast", un disque tout aussi fabuleux. Quelle déception ça a été quand au fil du temps je voyais qu'il ne jouait plus que du Jazz ! Extraordinaire batteur de Jazz qui a accompagné les plus grands, y compris Gino Vannelli lors d'une tournée en France, (Gino, mon autre idole de cette époque...) mais je regretterais toujours notre "Steve Gadd français" lorsqu'il composait une zique pareille...

I didn't know Andre played with Gino Vannelli, that must have been great!

@@jonsilence Yes, when in 1997 Gino toured again in France for "Slow Love", he didn't choose the dumbest drummer ! But alas, it was also his Jazz period. We were far from the first French concert that Gino had given at L'Olympia in Paris, on Thursday December 13, 1990, surely the most brilliant concert of my life. Absolutely unforgettable !!! (On the other hand, concert much less good two years later at the "Casino de Paris" because the sound was much too loud for this room...) In 1980, I had made a badge bearing the image of "B.N.T.F", but when I went to talk to Ceccarelli after a Big Band concert, he glared at me when he saw it pinned to the lapel of my jacket, when I expected him to be pleasantly surprised and talk about this group ! Big mistake.... 😭😭😭 Obviously for him, this Funk era was a thing of the past and now only Jazz counted... 🤗

ça me fait penser un peu penser à tower of power . mais en plus speed c'est clair la basse de janiick top est oppressante dans la première partie , sinon , magnifique final . on a quand meme de bons musiciens en France .
