@Cechaflo5 жыл бұрын

@Cechaflo5 жыл бұрын

Does heating up the leather makes it soft to apply on the edges or corners? I want to do this job. Excellent job 👍
@Cechaflo3 жыл бұрын
Heat (hot air, vapor, etc.) does not soften the leather material. It only helps to erase wrinkles and give shape to molded parts, because the leather shrinks with heat. The heat technique works well with vinyl. What you first should take into account is to consider the stretchy side of leather: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpnQdH18pbSmlZI If you want to make the leather softer, there are 'softeners' shoemakers use to mold leather: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGK7ZKaJn8uarZY

@@matthieubonte2513 I am located in Mexico. Upholstery yellow glues: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWPblpiwmatridU The shoemaker's polyurethane glue should be applied on both surfaces and let it dry for a few minutes. Once it is dry, the pieces can be easily lined up. The 'dry glue' is only activated with some 'heat' (the hot air of hair dryer is useful). The more this glue is dry the better. Some shoemakers say this glue is much stronger if dries from one day to another. I like to use it on areas difficult to handle with the yellow glue.
