Here is my cover of Cecilia Ann, originally written in 1989 by Steve Hoffman and Charles "Frosty" Horton for a surf compilation CD and covered by The Pixies on their record Bossanova! I'm playing a 2014 Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster through Logic Pro amp modeling.

I don't know how many times I've played this song, too many to count. You did a great job Tom. Very close to the original. Good tone too. I was an original member of the Torquays in Orange County. After I left they put out some great covers and originals. You should take a listen.

Your cover is twangtastic Tom. How do you get your trem arm to stay in the same place please? Is it the screw in type or clip in with the pawl clip? I have the American Pro Jazzmaster with a screw in tremolo arm.

It’s a screw type and it just tightens in the right place. I had another one though that didn’t and had to order one from Amazon
