And I would not like someone in my family to be disappointed and I always put my soul into music, share my most intimate things. At concerts, we have representatives of different nationalities. So, from today we are all one big family and we all live in the same world. People of all races and countries come together because of the music and that is the meaning of the word "DEARS". For me you symbolize peace, unity and love "

The best place to start with him might be his first performance on the Chinese competition TV show Singer 2017 "S.O.S. ....". This is when he became known to the huge Chinese audience and people on KZbin. That song was better suited to showing his vocal range at the time (part of it anyway). If he sang this now, the low notes would be more powerful, because having hit a D8 whistle note live, he has been working on expanding his range downwards.

I’m sure you’ll be inundated with many suggestions from his fans, of which I am one. Opera singers seem to enjoy listening to Olimpico (aka Ogni Pietra) which is a more operatic song for Dimash. The best version (IMHO) is from his 2019 solo concert in Kazakhstan and on Igor Krutoy’s KZbin channel. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer who collaborates with Dimash often. Igor composed this song for Dimash for the opening of the Second European Olympics. (The song is in Italian, but the Italian subs on this video translate pretty well to English on Google translate, which is not usually the case.) I think you will enjoy discovering all that Dimash can do.

Yes, he has quite the voice range. But my favorite aspect of him as a performer is how well he 'tells the story' of what he is singing. This performance of "My Heart Will Go On" is wonderful to me. And, of course, your analysis has given me a fresh appreciation of why it is so wonderful! One of my favorite performances of his was at the virtual 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival. No audience...because Covid. Just him, two musicians and also the orchestra on computer. The song is Samaltau. It is sung in his language and is a traditional song about a young shepherd in the Kazakhstani mountains who has been conscripted into the Czar's army to fight in a war he has nothing to do with. It was a historical event. The two musicians play instruments that mimic the sounds of animals and Nature in those mountains. And Dimash's performance so illustrates the great sadness of the young man leaving his beloved home, knowing he may never return, but having no choice. It doesn't matter at all that it is in an unfamiliar language. It is both heartbreaking and glorious, simple and so profound. And the style of that country's music - mmmmmm! kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6ewg56fjtpmgNU

As entertaining as this is, it is not--by any means--one of his strongest efforts. Five years has allowed him to grow as a singer, and as an entertainer. Dimash sings everything from opera to rap, and he does it all brilliantly. I have led a very long and music obsessed life, but all of the most important music of that life has become less important to me now that I have discovered the most talented (and diverse) singer on the planet. If you choose to take a casual trip through Dimashland as your time allows, you will come to see what I mean. Dimash has performed in front of equally adoring and peaceful audiences in both Russia and Ukraine and--as an ambassador for peace and bringing people together-he is devastated by the events of the day in Ukraine. He wrote a song, "War and Peace," several years ago that couldn't be more appropriate today. He sings it with unbridled passion. I highly recommend it as your time allows.

@@Treefellow1 I don't have an issue with "less fireworks" in the least but having shared this with friends and acquaintances who I thought might enjoy it I can promise that almost no one thinks this particular performance is "masterly singing"--as so much other of Dimash's is. Several have actively panned it. I love it, of course, and I'm happy to see this pleasant reactor featuring it. I also look forward to her seeing some of his even more powerful performances. I also love many of his "less popular" songs, among them "Elim Menin," "Marigolds," "I Miss You," "Jasmine," "Just Let It Be," "Question of Honor," "Bialowieza" "Couldn't Leave," and countless others. That being said, the more popular ones are more popular for a reason.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato,whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕🌷🌷🌷🌷Thank you! Welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash! I love how you picked up every little thing that’s great about Dimash’s performance. However… this did not even scratch the surface of his talent and art!!!! Please react to more of his music: SOS d’un Terrien en Détresse; Opera 2; Adagio; All By Myself (from Singer 2017); Confessa + Diva Dance; Hello; Sinful Passion; Across Endless Dimensions; Love Is Like a Dream; The Love of Tired Swans (MV); Screaming; Stranger; Ogni Pietra (a must since you’re into opera); and so much more! Since you’re preparing for a concert to benefit Ukraine, please react to Marigolds, a Ukrainian folk song that Dimash learned the night before his concert in Kyiv right before the pandemic halted his concert tour. It brings tears to my eyes every single time.

Thank you for the reaction, Cecilia. If you are into opera, there are a few songs from Dimash based on Opera. Maybe you can react to those songs like Olimpico (Ogni Pietra), Ti Amo Cosi (trio with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifulina), etc. . I am sure Dimash fans (Dears) will recommend more related songs to you along the way. Cheers!

Dear Cecilia: Welcome to the World of Dimash. If you continue on this journey you will discover a voice that appears only once in every generation. In this performance, Dimash was very young. Since then, his vocal abilities have blossomed to an astonishing degree. I agree that you will soon be inundated with requests, but I would recommend two of my personal favorite performances by Dimash: "S.O.S." (2021 version) link - kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4akg52braiHorM and "Ave Maria" link - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o32qaZpopNR5iaM I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Great and educative reaction. Yes, breaking down the barriers between opera and other genres is precisely where Dimash 'sits'. He loves to play across ALL Genres and is doing a great job of pulling focus / interest of people who have pigeonholed themselves into specific niches (and niche markets) The creative cross fertilization is really on show here and is inspirational. Follow the 'Dears' suggestion trail and you won't go wrong. Can I suggest you start / stay in the beginning, back in his 2017 Chinese Singer performances and then track forward to observe and comment on his amazing development vocally as well as artistically. Of course he was already well known across much of eastern Europe before he got to the Singer program, but from here his career really takes off. Enjoy! { Hi from Tasmania 😊}

Of all his pieces this one shows off the least of what he can do. That was barely nothing. If you were speechless from this you’re jaw is going to hit the floor when you really dig in.

Love your explanation of this. If you continue on the Dimash journey you may become one of my favourite reactors because I really want to totally understand what he does. Many of his fans “Dears” will follow you on the Dimash journey. Dimash is very concerned with what is happening in Ukraine. Many of the people he works with, his friends are from Ukraine. His last concert before the pandemic was in Kiev and it is awesome.

This in no way shows off his range whatsoever, it's great, because everything Dimash does is great, but he has grown so much since this. He sings in 14 languages, he was trained in Opera, he sings in 6 octaves, possibly 7, his breath control is unmatched.

titanic song for the introduction of Dimash? mmm..unusual.. i think his performance of sos & stranger showcases his multiple voices, dynamic & his range. a few years ago he had a 6-octave range when i discover him now he has 7 octaves. How many ranges do musical instruments have? & how many ranges can humans possibly do?

For your next song with Dimash, I agree that Ogni Pietra might be a good choice. Also "Love Is Like A Dream" might be good due to having a lot of dynamic range. The one from the tribute concert for Alla Pugacheva in 2018 or 2019 would be good. She was the first singer of the song in 1994 right around when Dimash was born. It is in Russian, so turn in the captions to get English subtitles.

Welcome to Dimash's Magic Enless Dimensions World. This in only a slight scratch on the surface o the tip of the huge iceberg which floats over the deep ocean of Dimash's talent. Tighten your sit belt and buckle it carefully 'cause you are about to ride a giant roller coaster. Only one more thing: with him the word is not How?, with Dimash is Always Wow!!!

He has a 7 octave 2 note range.
@pamscarr86962 жыл бұрын
I should amend that to some what. He was asked if we had seen his entire range, and he said no. He has much more range than what we have heard, and we have heard a D8 in his upper register and pretty sure I just read he can hit a 01...not sure abut that though. He is the consumate singer, performer. He began his classical vocal and instrument training at age 5 along with instrumental training at that age as well. He continued his classical training through age 25 and added pop/contemporary singing to his training at an early age. He is also an athlete, male clothing model and philanthropist. He is a great swimmer, horseback rider.. He has completed his Master in Music Composition and is working on his Doctoral studies. He is a peace maker as much as he is allowed and dearly loves the elderly and little ones. He is the true Renaissance man.

Loved your reaction. Fresh, genuine and above all quite professional. That being said, you have just broken the surface of this fantastic performer. I'd suggest you start where he began OUTSIDE of Kazakhstan at his 2017 Chinese breakout 'I am Singer' performances. He was a new singer who took the show (of seasoned performers) by surprise. He has only gotten better since then. Watch the whole series of songs he performs including, 'Opera 2', 'S.O.S'. 'Show Must Go On' and many more. His high range is crazy (7 octaves). S.O.S. was a song many people identify him by but every show is different, some better than others. Next you might want to listen once more to S.O.S. but this time at his performance at 'Slavic Bazaar'. One terrific song is one he wrote at the age of 19 I believe. He does his best performance of that song, 'Unforgettable Day' at Gakku where he hits a D8. For his low range, then his latest I believe is his recent release of 'Stranger'. Ramp it up a bit with 'Be With Me' to hear that he can actually rock out. Believe me, your reaction is wonderful and I for one will follow to see where your 'Dimash' journey takes you. Enjoy.

it was too easy as song for Dimash, you can’t understand how good he is… you will need to react to 10-12 different songs to begin to understand how talented he is. that song was nothing for him, you should react to Dimash - SOS 2021 Digital show next. after that, Dimash - Love of tired swans, or Stranger ( China version in really amazing to see his lowest note and also high note lol) or Ave Maria ( a vocalise performance ) well etc etc etc
@mactec542 жыл бұрын
He has much more than what you just saw take a look at Stranger and Ave Maria one of his newer release's, he has so many they are all good
