Great to travel with you. It's soooo important to TRAVEL WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE. Your travel is part of the adventure. If you feel that it is a barrier to start/finish your adventure, you will always be frustrated, angry, etc. My last trip was a "milk-run", a 90 minute drive and 3 connecting flights in one day to get to my destination. With an 'adventurer' attitude, I was open to meeting so many great people along the way just in the airports and planes.

Longyearbyen has been on my bucket list since I started watching your videos a couple of years ago! I've looked at the cost of flights occasionally but my spouse and I didn't have passports, until now! This video prompted me to check the cost of a flight from Los Angeles to Longyearbyen with stops in Copenhagen and Oslo was $862. I just started working for an airline (Edelweiss) as a flightattendant. About 5 times a year we actually have direct flights from Zurich to Longyearben. This year I missed it but next year I will definitely try to wish myself these flights🙈

This reminds me of my trip to Iceland several years ago. My dad dropped me off at the airport late and I missed the cut off for my first flight (I still checked a bad back then, if I hadn't, I probably could have made it to the gate in time). Just like you, I had tickets with multiple airlines, so missing that first flight messed everything up. I finally made it there the next day, but it was so frustrating! Glad you made it home!
