Great strip to go in and out of. Makes you stay on your game. Definitely daylight only. Actually lost my IFR instructor because he decided to go out at night and NTSB said it was disorientation.

That is so funny, because I was JUST looking at this airport extensively, about 2 weeks ago! It's on my list of places I want to fly to. (Yes, the actual audio would have been good. : )

Its a great place. If you have time, call ahead and request a golf cart so you can run downtown to get lunch. Its like their version of a rental car. Everglade City is another fun little runway. Its just South of Tampa

It went something like...........OH MY GOD OH MY GOD...... IT'S TOO SHORT, THIS IS A CIRRUS ITS NOT MADE FOR THIS!!!! HELLLLLPPPPPPP. Then my client asked if I could shut my mouth so he could land.

I was curious why you didn't land on 5, since wind didn't look like a factor, and the Displaced Threshold is about 200' shorter, but I'm guessing it's because you didn't want to backtaxi to the parking area? Though, you still had to backtaxi for departure, since you left on 23 also. Was other traffic using 23? Just curious.

Good eye, normally what you said would have been what we would have done. In the circumstance we were doing some recurrent training and I wanted to challenge my client as much a possible. Good decisions making thoughts on your part though.
