Bravo! This is some of your best work yet! I had a great time hanging out with you, as usual. I wonder if that bird that attacked you was the same one hanging out at your cabin. Lol. Those snake shots are insane! Loving the howling on that moon shot also. :) Those bugs are crazy up there! I was laughing quite loud at all the people swatting them away on SV's lift.

Me, my brother. and a couple close friends of ours went there on this exact same day: June 7, 2019. Watching this video makes me want to go Back and Cry in tears!!!! Cedar Point is like heaven for Roller Coaster enthusiasts!!! I miss Cedar Point. We'll come back Next Year!!!

Thank you! I haven't stayed in the Breakers since the renovations, but that's one of the best ways to really enjoy your stay, as long as you can afford it! i just stayed in a cottage and it was great.

@@CoasterBob62 Hi again! I thought the cottages cost more than the hotel... but they did give me a percentage off for buying season passes. For four nights (four persons with two beds and a sleeper chair) it will be just over 1000.00. We have the first and last nights off site at the Wolf Inn Hotel. I got two rooms there for us at 100.00 total for each night. So, that's five days starting Sunday and six nights altogether... I want them to have plenty of time to see and do everything. I was last there in 2000 but I went this past May to pick up my pass and spend a day and a half. The park seems much smaller because they've packed in so many new rides! But there is still plenty of nature to see and that's part of what I love about your videos that you include that. Also, you have a real talent in framing and sound and tying clips together so well. I stumbled across another video that I am sending to my nephews to prime them for the trip... they are in their early 20's so I think they will appreciate the humor... My sister can't remember ever riding a coaster. It's really funny and you can't help but laugh. Look up "Magnum Cedar Point Fail" on KZbin to see it if you want. LOL! Thanks again CoasterBob, I was so happy hearing that woman in the video telling you how we feel about your work.

The bird that you said attacked you are the meanest birds there. They are meaner then the geese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The geese are actually pretty tame. The one that attacked you is the same kind that tried attacking me from the back not once but twice back in 2001 when I worked games there.

The bird that attached me is a red-winged blackbird. I had one attack me a few years ago when I was filming near Gatekeeper...you think I had learned my lesson! I'm surprised the geese don't attack me, they're usually pretty aggressive where I live.

My family and I happened to go on the same exact days as you! Sadly we didn't make it anywhere in the video haha. We ran in the 5k race Saturday morning and spent the rest of the day at the park. Also I agree, the bugs were absolutely terrible!

The park was pretty crowded that day, and I spent the morning in my cottage and at the beach. Hard to dodge the bugs though -- they were everywhere! Sorry you didn't make it in the video!

You had to do a ton of walking to get all the various shots we see in this video, CoasterBob - all throughout the park, plus Lighthouse Point, the pier, the marina, the waterpark, and on and on. I can only guess how many different shooting locations you used for all this great footage. Also, the editing on this video had to be rather laborious, to piece together so many different shots of Magnum, Blue Streak, Steel Vengeance, etc. Well done, as always. By the way, the mufflehead population of Sandusky decreased by about 100 (or about 0.000001%) on my way home from CP one night earlier this month, when I drove through an apparently low-flying swarm.

Thank you! Since I was planning on staying for 2 days, I thought I'd take advantage of it and cover the whole park. There WAS a lot of walking involved, and as you can imagine, shooting the coaster footage took up a lot of my time. As for the editing, it is laborious, but the most enjoyable part is piecing together the coaster sequences. As long as I shoot them right, they're easy and fun to assemble. Thanks for helping control the mufflehead population. That's one thing I don't miss about living in Sandusky.

Fortunately, they're not mosquitoes, we call them muffleheads, and they don't bite. You're right, though, they're as much a part of CP as the rides.

You are not the only one who has been attacked by that red winged blackbird over by the boardwalk/Magnum turnaround. I have this year and last year as well! So territorial those things are! But I'd probably act the same way if humans were chopping down all my friends and families homes. I predict that sometime in the near future, these birds are going to get more aggressive and send people to the hospital with injuries, LoL. #thebirds

They pretty much left me alone when I was walking, but once I stopped to shoot some video (and I did that frequently) they got very agitated. Not that I blame them though. As you said. I'd act the same way. Thank goodness the gulls don't behave that way!

You can download the Cedar Point app to see how long the lines are at any given time, but I've never used it to know its accuracy. I rarely wait in long lines for rides, so I don't keep track of that.

When I went on 5/29, Steel Vengeance was closed all day :( Being from California, I can only go 1-2 days before Colossalcon at the Kalahari that weekend. Fortunately I was able to ride it after it opened in 2018. :)

Went there yesterday for the first time in 4 years. Steel vengeance was amazing. 1000x better than what it replaced. Sadly Valravn was down all day, guess they had some kind of accident last month.
