On this adventure, we were invited to Cedar Point to experience their latest record breaking roller coaster, Top Thrill 2.
This ride was recently re-imagined by Zamperla from the previously known attraction, Top Thrill Dragster. The Dragster closed in 2021 and will now re-open in 2024 as a brand new ride.

It was a lot of fun! But not going to lie it was hard waiting in line without a phone lol. Just had to make friends in line to help pass the time!

The frustrating thing about the locker situation is that it basically makes this ride an up charge. There's no excuse. They could have done a locker system like they have for Steel Vengeance. A lot of people that are regulars like myself that go to cedar point multiple times a year are not happy about this.

@@cjspyker I waited probably 2 hours of Mllennium Force in 2000 with no phone. My friend and I played Euchre with a couple girls. It can be done. But I agree that it shouldn't be an upcharge.

@@cjspyker we ended up waiting about 90 minutes for the POV seat and didn’t make it, but it wasn’t too bad since we chatted and made new friends in the line! But I definitely felt naked without a phone

The south has velocicoaster and the Midwest has Top thrill 2. Imagine wanting to vacation in Orlando for theme parks… lmao Jk but it is pretty amazing TT2, Steve, maverick are all in one park in Ohio… haha love the Midwest.

Velocicoaster is so good! Can’t wait to ride it again sometime soon! Maverick might still be my favorite ride at Cedar Point!

I did... on my birthday weekend we did Busch Tampa, IOA and Seaworld in 3 days then went home....Los Angeles... thought BGT was definately the best of the 3. Velocioaster was good but I think that i think Gwazi was better. Was totally rooting for Velocicoaster too, im an unapologetic Intamin fanboy

I mean, Maverick (also at Cedar Point) is no slouch either. It's also world class. So is Steel Vengeance, which I would argue is the best coaster in the world

For 2024, with the Prestige Pass, does it include the Fast Lane Plus(one time use) For TT2, or only Fast Lane for certain rides?

Fast lane plus! I plan on testing it out opening weekend on TT2 !

@@shawnkincaid1353 opening weekend was amazing! The Park is electric with Top thrill 2 running and we got a new upgrade to the prestige lounge! I got some footage of it in our latest video!

starting to look like you’re trying travel through time more than in a drag race with this one but that’s not a complaint 😂. One question tho not tryna scare anyone but does anyone remember when a kid got hit by a bird on kingda ka? And it looked like mike Tyson punched him. What happens if another event happens where someone gets hit most likely by a phone that gets through somehow or like i said maybe a damn bird. I’m just shocked there’s no safety glasses for face of some sort on this kind of ride. I just don’t wanna see a accident shut the ride down like with dragster. I think just some clear glasses on face. I think they did that with the fastest coaster in the world goes like 140mph and they wear safety glasses. I don’t understand how it’s not concerning considering why dragster shut down in the first place and that was OFF ride. But it’s never a issue until it happens. So ig just hope nothing hits you in the face especially eyes. It’s just that with ALL this technology you’d think we would have something to protect our FACE.

Yeah I think they would just categories it as a freak accident. The amount of time to get everyone a face mask would kill ride ops and not mention cleaning them? Or disposable? I personally really liked the wind in my face!

Yeah hopefully it’s just a quick reset. But I was curious on what the ride is supposed to do in that event. The lighter train really hauls it over the top, so I wonder if we will ever see a roll back on the third launch !

It did jerk me around a little bit on the third launch. I figure when you’re going 120 mph every little bump counts lol. But the first and second launch were smooth as butter
