Beautiful! Do you ever have problems with the metal bands causing issues with the wood? Like some type of corrosion or whatever.

Thank you! These bands have plastic sheaths. I know metal on wood facilitates rot over time. It's smart to do whatever it takes to reduce rot over time when installing. I might even start adding a plastic buffer on the band buckles. They are stainless steel, so maybe that's not necessary. I have seen a lot of older tubs that have rot issues at the bands, but I think it's the dirt/dust that settles there that causes the rot more so than the bands themselves. Keeping them clean is a must.

Yeah. Over the years, rust at the buckle can facilitate some rot. The bands have plastic sheathing though, so generally its not an issue. I also use stainless steel bands as an upgrade. They look really nice and they don't corrode. This is key when building one on the coast, IMO.

Nice build, what jets, blowers, pumps do you use ?

Thanks! Just standard pool equipment. I like Pentair and Raypak. Higher quality.
