This commander is actully great! Like really good. He is a food chain commander but also a reanimator commander. So lots of different things in one.

he seems really good for giving yourself the rad counters and using topdeck tutors to play thassa's oracle or other combo pieces without spending any mana andh ave counters up in addition to your demonic consultation.

I know it's not "good" as a 3-card combo, but Mindcrank+Master+Intruder Alarm sounds like a decent way to have an instant board state

Definitely think Bloodchief is worth running in conjunction with Mesmeric Orb to pressure life totals against Breech lines

The Wise Mothman is kind of cracked as well. With a mesmeric orb, each orb trigger is seperate, so the mothman is going to make itself or something else massive very quickly. Definitely would keep it in my list unless I'm building something with a very direct combo line.

The wiki says that all cards that mill now have it in their oracle text. Hermit Druid does not, so he won't work with this card.

Hermit druid has a game action where it places a basic land (or attempts to) into your hand before the other revealed cards go to the graveyard. Mill keyword is from the top of the library to the graveyard with no game actions in between.

Honestly I'd rather turn this into a Necrotic Ooze deck. You're milling anyway so all you're short is a blighted bat and Intruder Alarm. Sac commander for Dread Return and Nooze go brrrrr. Nooze combo was the first cEDH deck I built a million years ago and I just want it to be good again

Rules question... If I mill a phantasmal image, put it onto the battlefield as a copy of the master using the master's ability, then sacrifice it to the legend rule, does phantasmal image still count as being "milled this turn"? This would go infinite with intruder alarm on the battlefield.

No it goes back to grave but this time it dosen't count as being milled. It count as just dying. It is strange but that is how it works.

I actually would be okay with milling my opponents - because I think this deck should be on cards like bojuka Bog and Armored Scrapgorger - which can let us dig their deck for neat stuff, and as soon as a line starts to open for them (a combo piece, a tutor, or just raw card count - like 9ish) we yeet that player's graveyard into the void For example, they trigger six rad counters, and as soon as they mill that LED, tap gorger to exile it, or if we get them to mill on our turn with a brain freeze, hold up the bog as land for turn and if we see something dangerous, nuke it

I have a gameplay question, and I think it just goes infinite with any big creatures long as it was technically "milled" that turn...The Master, Trascendant + Altar of Dementia + Intruder Alarm/any other untap ability that has enough mana for it. With this right, you mill any creature because it becomes a 3/3, like let's use Grave Crawler for example (which you can Vamp/Worldly Tutor to the top of your library then mill). Tap our commander, reanimate the creature, Intruder Alarm untaps commander, sac to altar, mill someone 3, it was milled this turn so it's still a viable target in grave, rinse repeat to have no opponents with a graveyard

No this won't work. When a creature goes to grave from altar of dementia it won't count as have beeing milled anymore. Magic donsent work like that. The creature is a new creature in the game of mtg.

that is unfortunate - but we can use it to dig for cool cards that we can noxious back up top to mill to rad counters that Master Man will see It doesn't make for a very efficient play, but there's value there -

Ukkima still has an advantage over the master, is not an ETB so it can play through topor orb effects.

The keyword mill is placing cards directly from the top of the library to the graveyard with no additional effects in between. If it does anything besides put cards directly from the top of the library directly to the graveyard, it's not mill. Hermit Druid puts a basic land into your hand before putting the other revealed cards into the graveyard, so it's not mill.

There are creatures that can be casted from exile. Food chain lets you exile creatures and doing so you gain mana equal to that creatures casting cost but also +1. So you cast that creature over and over untill you have infinit mana. Cast commander with that mana and get the ETB effect. Now exile your commander back to command zone with food chain. Recast him using the infinit mana from food chain and repeat.

Man I hate these UB cards tbh. One day it's gonna be Spiderman or Darth Vader and then the flavour of the game will be completely lost forever or at least until they ban all UB cards and treat them as silver bordered. I'm sick of my favourite cardgame turning into pop culture Topps, it might not be that bad right now but in 5 or so years down the line magic will cease to be magic

Just a small note, as it came up in the Pantheon. Can we stop referring to loops as doing 'infinite' of anything? It's not a legal number in the game, so can we please instead say 'the loop is infinite, so you can give all opponents a billion rad counters'
