Cool! Crazy thing is 2 days before I watched this I founded a speaker that looks like its from the 80's that's that big, and it has a headphone jack cord. I don't know if it will work well on a smartphone though, since it needs a bigger audio system for good volume.

U need the lighter to help burn away its outer layer of plastic so u can scape it away easier with a knife or razor blades to expose the metal beneath in order to get a connection to the speaker 😊 I've been repairing own headphones this way since I can remember 😅 n they worked very well sometimes better than before ❤

Não é aconselhável fazer essa substituição. A saída de som do celular, não tem potência suficiente para excitar a bobina do alto falante, apenas do fone de ouvido. Além duque, corre o risco de danificar a saída de som do aparelho. Para essa substituição, seria necessário de um amplificador.

You have to use only one wire for one speaker left or right with the ground wire.. if your have 2 speaker you can use both left wire and right and ground wire for both speaker..

Earphones or headphones have a lot smaller drivers so most of the time they don't need external power. But a driver as big as this absolutely does. Of course we're getting audio, but the quality and volume is not as good as it's capable of because you're not supplying it with enough power.

No , it's bullshit . You can't get more power with an extern Loudspeaker , cause you got still the low power from the little amplifier inside the smartphone and there is the risk to destroy it . The better way is : Use an extern applifier , connect it with a cable like in this video and with a stereo amplifier you can use 2 loudspeakers and you will even hear in stereo !
