@@Joris._ Baki a un style plus complet , avec + de techniques de lutte, et il est jeune il peut encore s'améliorer, mais de la à dire qu'il est meilleur que Doumbé, quand on sait que le combat s'est finie de manière controversée, pas claire... on attend toujours son prochain combat à Baki, au moins Doumbé a pas eu peur d'enchaîner pour qu'on oublie un peu cette défaite ridicule par écharde :') . Il est arrivé fort sur le combat avec Doumbé, bien meilleur que sur tout ses autres combats, il s'entraine dur ça se voit. Mais si il était tellement supérieur, il aurait calé une soumission round 1 et on en parle plus. Je trouve la transition de Doumbé vers le mma plutôt réussie, il se sert bien de ses restes de multiple champion du glory, et on voit qu'il a appris à défendre les tentatives de takedowns et de soumission.

En kickboxing et MMA c'est pareil, si tu te plains a l'arbitre a deux reprises c'est considéré comme un abandon, monsieur Godart a simplement appliqué le règlement. J'aime bien doumbe mais il a senti qu'il pouvait perdre le fight et a préféré se défiler. Aucun combattant n'aurait arrêté le combat pour une petite écharde

Generally, none object in the ring should be damage the opponents both, except the opponents themselves. But in the ring, there was a splinter and unfortunately, Cédric Doumbé walked on it. The logic would want to stop for a few seconds the fight to permit Doumbé to remove this damn splinter. Because this kind of damage is not the fact of his opponent. Simple logic ! I don't understand why people are so emotional. In my opinion, this fight should be rematch ! The decision of the refereer was so unfair and illogic ! The second time, Baki stopped to talk to the referee because he felt Doumbe was embarrassed. Doumbe showed his foot to the referee again, since Baki had stopped on his side. So, ultimately, it was the first time the referee could have stopped the fight, as Doumbe had stopped on his own, and Baki could have taken advantage of it to attack Doumbe. But since the thorn is an element outside the ring, which implicates the responsibility of the PFL, Doumbe had the right to interrupt the fight. Therefore, a no contest could be considered.

This is a really bad look for Goddard and the PFL. The splinter was a foreign object and 100% the fault of PFL for not maintaining their cage. The only sensible thing to do would be call a doctors stoppage to remove the splinter and restart the fight. Calling it a TKO is an absolute joke, if the fight had to end the only valid call is no contest. Doumbe clearly wanted to continue fighting - why would he give up when he was winning? PFL, clean your damn cage.

Actually, after listening to Joe rogan make this seem absolutely preposterous and then having watched it in full context I would have to decide with Marc Goddard in the moment. It looked like he was refusing to fight because of an injury, however it should be ruled a no contest after the fact because it was out of the fighters control. He should have just kept fighting though. Guys have thrown punches with broken hands and fought with broken toes. Easier said then done though I would imagine 😂
