After my first few installations of two-way radio and cellular equipment 30 years ago I decided it was better to ALWAYS use stainless steel nuts, bolts, washers, and self tapping screws. Why? After a few years of service the galvanization breaks down the screws then rust. Stainless steel may cost a few pennies more however, I found in the long run that the installation held up better and I had happy customers as a result.

II gather the registration process is not tower dependent being mobile and purely a name and address thing. Do Telstra charge an annual fee to use these repeaters after registration?

Hi just wondering, so you remove the 5amp fuse for the a/c and then replace it with 2 x 10amp fuses in the holder?

Yeah, doesn’t look right for the aircon. I suspect one of the 10A fuses is a spare.

Are these the same as the Actual telstra go mobile smart signal vehicle repeater? If so what's the difference between the two?

Hi Steve, Telstra don't manufacture thier own signal repeater, they buy the CelFi Go from Powertech to resell it, the same as we do. Both Telstra and Audiocom but my the very same CelFi Go from the importer of these units, Powertech. There are no differences in any way between the 'Telstra' CelFi GO and the Audiocom Cel Fi GO.
