It's a model's job is to be a walking coat hanger, they're not intended to be the focus of attention at a fashion show. The people are there to see the clothing not the models, and they want to be able to visualize themselves, or their clients, in the different garments as they see the models walk by in them. When these clothes are worn irl, the person is supposed to be the focal point and the dress is meant to compliment them.

Catherine choses clothes that work with her body shape and height. Unfortunately a lot of these celebs wear clothes designed for a 5' 10" model when they are only 5' 3" and 30 pounds heavier. If I were a person who had to walk red carpets, I would presumably have enough money to hire a professional atelier to make me bespoke clothing designed to fit my size and shape.

Most of these so-called designs don’t look good on anyone - not to mention the fact that they are not fitted properly on the celebrity. There is a difference between you wearing the clothes and the clothes wearing you. No matter who designs the garment, wear a garment because it is flattering and makes you feel beautiful - not because of who designed it.

Way too many of these "outfits" look like the results of a "make a dress out of curtains" challenge, followed by a "make a look out of tablecloths" assignment, and finally rounded up with "raid your child's art supplies" day. I'd say 50/50. The celebs looked better than the models in those mostly horrid outfits. In most cases, if stylists picked the outfits for the celebs, they should be fired. There was a lot of mismatched body type to outfit. Do these celebs look in a mirror before going out in the public?

The women are also fairly grotesque with a few exceptions,. The "slebs" are disfigured by cosmetic surgery, dollops of make-up, fake t its, mainly outside the outfits. Disgusting, exibitionistic and vulgar. Yuk.

But yes, a lot of the outfits again are not pleasant to look at but both the model and actresses are advertising the new collections generally. The actresses won’t have paid for the items they wear and therefore don’t get much of a choice. The couture lines are usually adapted for their customers for actual sale anyway.

Not really clear on why many female stars feel the need to expose as much of their skin as possible, especially overflowing breaststroke. It's taking a real chance to put on the same clothing as a runway model has appeared in, so people have seen the it staged as the designer intended it to look & fit. Only a handful of the stars did justice to the outfits, often because they were much more endowed than the flat chested models, ended up with too much hanging out.

On the younger set it looks fantastic. Even Anne Hathaway looked like mutton dressed as lamb as Naomi. In my honest opinion Lindsay Lohan takes the crown, despite her setbacks but then that is what it is, that experience adds to her allure, plus it helps that she has a fashion body, slim and proving amply endowed doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable (Heidi take notes). Lindsay is a true fashion creature.

Models wear dresses different ly from celebs and movie stars. Most of the dresses are fitted for a tall very skinny young girl and movie stars are not tall leggy models they. mostly appeal through their personalities. The dresses don't fairly represent them although some celebs nicely fitted the dress and brought it out.Therr was a day when I modelled and could wear anything. I think we have to remember the age differences between the models and celebs. I really liked all the fashions. The women looked beautiful in them.

I think one difference is that the model is moving in their picture and the celebrity is standing still. Garments always look better in motion. Also, Zendaya is one celebrity that has a very modelesque figure and is incredibly good at posing.
