Celebrate Southern Africa Book Festival 2024
This series is about Southern African writers and Southern African writers, wherever they are in the world.
Meet Matthew Blackman and Nick Dall
Matthew Blackman has written on South African art, literature and history. He has a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of East Anglia. He lives in Cape Town with two dogs of nameless breed.
Nick Dall has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town. He’s written about everything from coelacanths to circus acts, but it’s the barely believable tales of our past that get him most excited. He lives in Cape Town with his wife and kids.
Matthew and Nick have found the perfect mix to collaborate. They have known each other for a long time and they both share a love of history. They have injected fun into their books too, which makes their books really very special.
Unique, fascinating and brilliant!
