Hello, Mrs. LYON. 👋Touching video of your wedding. Scott, if you were anything like me it is a good thing you have the video. I was so nervous I didn't remember a thing at my wedding! Wow, so much to comment on. Congratulations on the 100th vlog. 👍I will preface this with I am sure you are already aware of these products from Natural Pigments. Sanded gesso and a product from Arti fix on their website. The process for the B&W piece is textbook watercolor in reverse. Way cool! I have only dabbled in art as a self-taught weekend hobbyist. Now that I am retired (71) and my wife has passed I have more time to dabble and nap. So maybe your Patreon class would benefit someone like me. Would the middle level get me onto this Zoom thingy? Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

I was very nervous and young, I couldn't stop giggling. I will check out the the products you mention. I have tried other brand sanded gesso before. Please do join our free trial, you can see if you like it. We have tutorials for beginners to advanced. The livestream zoom paint along is open to all tiers. If people miss it live I post the replay on the first of the next month.

I would be interested to see what you come up with when you paint more from imagination! When you mostly paint stuff from photo reference or a model I often find it so hard to just come up with something in your head alone if you are used to performing at a certain level with reference.

@@felixoesinghaus Scott loves to paint from his imagination, I will go into his studio for the next video and show some of his fantasy pieces. It is hard to rip our selves away from references if you have worked from them for a long time. I am still trying to figure out how to be unique with my work.
