This is strong. There are many people who can technically paint well and can teach others a lot, but you are definitely not one of them. What do you want to teach them? How to do the right thing? Or how to paint another face, of which hundreds of thousands have been and will be painted? You don't understand the essence of art at all, and you just look at the stupidity of other people who think that their work will finally get a response. Your paintings are technically on the level of an average high school student who has been painting for 2 years. Which is a warning in itself, because you've been doing it all your life. The most important thing with any painter is progression and a style that sets him apart. Do you feel that your paintings are recognized among the flood of other similar paintings? Not at all. Even if you could make a good living from this fooling around, your paintings are worth nothing from the point of view of art, and after your death not even a dog will be after them. That's the reality.

What holds people back is not having a jumping board like dimitra did as a child. She knew people and had a family galley show..most don’t have that privilege….but I love the Milan family and all the knowledge they give the community..❤❤❤❤

Yes, these are the two main points to become successful. 👍 I've painted all my life, did two art schools, and other studies, had a life filled with lots of obstacles and hardships. I know a lot of people, and also lots in art. But, I wish now that some magic happens that a good benevolent person helps propulse my art work. 🙏🌟🤍
@zobobeebo80117 ай бұрын
Don't let that hold you back, don't compare - you've got your own magic in you, work on that, and if you want it enough you'll find your own way. Grow your signature style, tell everyone you meet about it, share it and your clients will come - believe in yourself ❤

Agreed it is harder for those of us without someone already connected
@CherylChastain2 ай бұрын
I have to say I was thinking the same thing,it is extremely hard without connections. It’s taken me more than a decade to find what works for me to be able to go all in as a full time artist. I’ve really noticed a huge increase in targeted ads of “successful/professional artists” making content and special steps to sell art, but then that’s them supplementing their income with these tutorials/subscriptions and lots of artists buy in and if they don’t see that kind of result they often quit and some are sent into despair. A million at age 15 is impressive and to those artists that have no representation and no idea how to get a foot in the door of galleries and no representation, the comparison leads to despair. I just think these are misleading. I wish they came with a disclaimer telling the artists spending their money and struggling that these results are not typical,the art world is still mostly about who you know and it’s only through social media platforms like Instagram that have given regular Joes tools to reach more people than in the past. It doesn’t happen over night and you’re going to fail sometimes and even if it takes years don’t give up. These “free guides” and expensive “marketing” subscriptions do more harm than good in my opinion,why not post technical skills and tutorials that address artists skills and weaknesses to help artists help themselves. Give out some tips,pointers to get more eyes on your art referrals if you will, some artists are desperate to get feedback that helps them make it at being an artist full time. I think the art world is saturated with gatekeepers and pompous folks, artists need to know who and how to share their portfolios with to see results and keep them painting,not hundreds of dollars worth of what you did to make your first million..

Hello I've been doing a lot of dabbling and abstract backgrounds Just loving it. Between tin foil and tissue paper in addition to my acrylic paints and inks thrown all in there. I thought the pixelmator would be a wonderful idea to see what your actual object would look like against the abstract that I make.😊 But of course when looking it up I realized it's a Mac and the only suggestions that I'm getting are for photographs I'm not interested in photo art I'm trying to get something similar to what you're working with. May I ask what you would suggest for Androids like a Google pixel 7pro or 8 pro. And the only tablet I own is an HD fire tablet which is owned by Amazon not Google. But my laptop is a regular Microsoft 10 Or I can change it to 11 if I must. Please I really need your help and suggesting a similar application or if anyone else has any comments towards this ❓ would be great ..Thank you Big hugs. I'm so happy that I found you on KZbin. This is exactly what I've been looking for and helping me with ideas and techniques that I'm just not thinking of. And the inspiration needed to do so. Thank you again and big hugs 🤗
