On July 12th 1991, we opened our doors and welcomed our very first guest to Cabra Castle. 30 years ago, the Corscadden Family moved to Cabra Castle and re-opened it as the magnificent castle hotel it is today.
This week we are celebrating 30 wonderful years of hospitality as one of Ireland’s leading luxury castle hotels as well as one of the best-known castle wedding venues in Ireland, hosting more than 5,500 weddings over the last three decades.
Over the past three decades, a lot has changed at Cabra Castle except one thing - our consistently amazing team. In the video below, some of our longest serving team members share some of their favourite memories of Cabra Castle over the past 30 years.
As we take time to celebrate the years past, our story very much continues. We are excited for what the next 30 years will bring and hope that you will come with us on our journey.

A beautiful castle hotel, I worked with Howard & Deirdre in Dromoland many years ago and they were fabulous people, best of luck in the future.
