There is a lot a talk of knights and chivalry here which is not really correct ireland had a very different culture to rest of europe during the middleages.The Elite warriors were infantry gallowglass not knights and the cavalry was totally different they wore no armour ,throw spears from horseback rather than thrusting with lances on small ponies.I appreciate the chivalry and knights stuff sells but so does the true celtic culture of ireland.

I love the caslte and its history. Kissin the blarney is Blarney. The irish peed on the damn thing. ( note I would have too) Its blant arse kissing n its still funny after all these year. ( priceless iis an understatement!!!). I massively love Erie!! Nothing smells like Her!!
