In July this year, we turn the big 𝟒 𝟎 so we thought we'd take a trip down memory lane to showcase how far the Company has come. First up it's 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖𝟎𝐬!
In 1984, we started trading as general builders, later forming Fairmitre (Highland) to manufacture bespoke timber windows and doors from a shed in Scarfskerry. Norscot Joinery Ltd was born through a Company Rebrand!
By 1987, we moved to a historic site: the former War Radio Station in Bower, now known as Bower Workshops. This location, once a crucial Admiralty Wireless Intercept 'Y' Station during WWII and later a GCHQ site, became our new home.
Expanding our horizons, we began manufacturing PVCu windows and doors at Bower Workshop in 1988. The following year, we completed Phase 1 of redeveloping Bower Workshops, adding 4,500 sq ft of factory floor space.
