to be honest it never look cool, not infront of Sultana apa and not even infront of Amna every week. That shows disrespect towards women, and Amna pointed out so many times about buttons but Hassan never thinks that way.

Aamna knows how to conduct interview 😊 and Aamna and hassan seemed a bit overwhelmed and that completely makes sense. Sultana ma'am's vision is reflected by her work. Glad and appreciate that someone thought about mob attacks and false blasphemy allegations. Loved her honesty and courage.

I think her remark about Sabeena was a bit off. She mentions that it is rare for female to be true artists and not do as much makeup but then says that she voiced concerns about Sabeena looking older when casting her, which doesn't add up. She is almost the same age as Bilal so that should not be brought up. There is already so much ageism in the industry and probably many female actors do so much makeup because of these perceptions and wanting to look young. It already takes so many years for people without connections and non nepo people to get a lead role that you can't expect new talent to be super young by the time they get a lead role. Sabeena got the chance pretty early comparatively but there are many who are still not able to and comments like these don't help.

I think Sultana Ji might have envisioned Aliya's character to be young at first (this was before final casting) because Ch. Shabir, the husband's character might have come across as a bit older on paper and ofc he is too dominating from what we saw in the very first ep. In a typical storyline, such a dominating politician husband can have a young beautiful wife .. but then Aliya's character arc, her courage and brilliance won't easily fit a 16 year old or even a 20 something year old Pakistani woman from a lower middle class background in the setting they showed in the later eps. And I think Kashif Nisar might have explained it pretty well to Sultana Ji why Sabeena is the best choice. And she did say that Sabeena is an artist and is one of the rare actors who won't care about make up to fully get into a character. So I don't find her praise flawed or incomplete. I think Sultana Aapa would have fallen in love with Sabeena's acting by the ending episode.😅 because she herself admitted how other actresses would do make up even as a dead body .. She definitely didn't praise half heartedly. I am happy that Sabeena got the chance to prove herself once again. And for history, she didn't look older than bilal from any angle. In fact they both looked the perfect age for the characters. There are still people commenting this BS under their YT shorts etc.They should take a chill pill ig.

A question I would have asked if I was in place of hassan amna. Why are our dramas always revolving around love? Why cant we have other stories. There are so many topics we are dealing with in our daily life for eg. Career building, pursuing dreams, teenage problems, parenting, whats a mother's life after a baby (PPD), thriller and crime, husband and wife relationship with kids (our dramas are always showing couples in isolation ), pursuing any profession (struggles, pros and cons ). I really like the way mustafa is shown to be a coding expert, how he is freelancing and doing remote work. Also I wanted her to answer hassan's question regarding merit in lux style awards. 2 things I have learned from her : consistency ( the way she says I only gets sick on sundays ), and second how a person has the art to present herself irrespective of age. We can listen to a 20yr old for 10 mins and gets bored and listens to a 60+ yr old woman and still gets entertained and hooked. A very important conversation. Good interview. Enjoyed :)

Zindagi Gulzar Hai was the very first Pakistani drama I had watched, before that I had only watched select movies, and it had such a strong impact on me personally. After that I chanced upon her other shows like Marvi and Zara Si Aurat. Education, career and empowerment of women has been consistently the main theme or atleast a pivotal point in all her dramas. Mann Jogi has been very well formed and I looking forward to future dramas backed by her.

Nice, Masha’Allah growing up in Pakistan I watched the name of sultana Siddiqi for the first time at the end of a show paying tribute to Ghazala Rafiq my favorite actress growing up. Beautiful drama woman empowering roles, she is a genuine lady that support other woman , Hum was the reason I started watching Pakistani drama again. She just gives opportunities to her family members. Most of hum dramas are produced by her two daughters in law. A lot of these shows have misogyny and revolve around marital problems only. With her power she could have done more for the t.v industry but she just continued the tradition of nepotism and poorly written dramas.

Sultana apa, your legacy is unmatched. I think some of the best dramas that have ever been produced in pakistan were from your channel. As a member of your audience though, I do think there is an area of improvement for Hum Tv in general, and that is nepotism and favoritism. Please give roles to actors on merit and not connections/poshness alone. We want our country to progress forward, and the playing field needs to be level for the average person, but certain people have an undue advantage, just because of their backgrounds alone, breeding mediocrity.

I am glad to hear from sultana mam that they created the character Aliya to look like she is a dead body I mean she is going through so much pain and suffering that we can clearly figure out by looking at her face so beautifully created by makeup and she is a married woman who is not happy with her husband so it pritty obvious and Ibrahim the character is a low confident and have no idea about the outside world and of course he is handsome and the character Aliya is a normal woman who is not very well dressed and good looking that’s how they made it . Mann jogi is a great drama it is not a typical drama Mature audience loved it because of brilliant story great director well executed logical writing and most importantly powerful and impactful performances of Bilal Abbas Sabeena Farooq and Mirza Gohar .. it is so disappointing that people still knowing everything still saying The character Aliya look older not beautiful so we don’t watch it .. They are not watching or saying bad because the character Aliya is a simple woman and not completely glamorous so sad they know the story is written like the Woman Aliya is married her husband is not good she is going through so much suffering so it ok look like the character Aliya is looking onscreen.. Mann jogi is made with the idea give a massage to people to become aware or think before talking an action and people can change their perception like the hero and heroine should look good onscreen it’s ok look normal..

I think she is talking about actresses who are playing sad characters or mazloom ones lekin acha khasa makeup kr rahi hoti hen. She is saying real life me itny bury halat me insan ko makeup ar fashion ki khwahish hi mar jati hy. So she is saying ek zinda lash ka character play kr rahi hen to lagna bhi wesa chahiye. I too have seen many actresses with tons of makeup in branded clothes and complaining about poverty and this and that, ar ye itna zehr lag raha hota hy, atleast dress and behave like what you're saying
