I relate to everything Nozi was saying about difficult conversations. Growing up and having to keep quiet, otherwise you were seen as rude, back chatting and cheeky. You could never defend yourself instead had to take the brunt of it. I too, sometimes see myself doing the same thing to my partner, siblings or abatshana, and I have to remind myself to calm down and let them voice their opinions. I struggle with difficult conversatuons, conflicts and confrontations

The similarities to Nozi and my upbringing are insanely similar and I know you are a mirror to a lot of black girls. I've had to work so hard on not "hearing my mother" when I speak..and everytime I think of having kids, i think of not being my what she was 70% of the time. God is great cos he blesses us with men who are resilient, but stern , loving, and nurturing and I thank my fiance everyday for being a soft place my mother was not. I hear you very well when you say you find yourself having to come across as fighting. I recognise that with myself... an unstable upbringing does that, especially on females. I find myself having to fight, all my life I have fought to be and have the things I have now. You have to fend for yourself. Loved every minute of the video and the last part enjoyed it even more, learnt as well, loved the fact that Skhu took us out of our "comfort zones" about "fighting correctly" because we tend to fight with emotions, losing focus to the matter at hand... You guys should do a video on topics such as the issue in the last part of the video, bcz wow sana 🥰 we could do with a man's perspective on tackling issues like communication and we sometimes misinterpret men so Skhu could help us understand how men think so we could understand them altogether.
