The Cambodian New Year's Eve parade to celebrate the new year is very wonderful. The elaborately decorated floats and the procession of people are beautiful, magnificent, and fantastical, and are appropriate for celebrating the new year. It makes me feel good to watch it. The big puppets are part of our traditional entertainment, but now still exist mostly in Kandal province. We use them in procession. The giant figures with funny faces attract more audience and they can be seen in the dry season or for fundraising occasions .
