Okay, I’m seriously crying at how much love your family put into making a Halloween for Flynn. Heck ya we absolutely organized our candy after trick or treating! You’ve definitely gotta count up your stash, and we also traded with siblings/cousins/friends in hopes of snagging more of your favorites and getting rid of some less desirables. Big important step of trick or treating is the candy sorting afterwards! We also used pillow cases instead of Halloween themed buckets/bags, because pillow cases can hold more candy 😏. Happy Halloween!

I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am that you posted this blog today! I actually kept looking for it like a lunatic all day! I'm a lot like you when it comes to seeing beautiful things or things that are so meaningful, I will cry oceans and rivers of emotions and that's what happened while watching Flynn be so happy and elated to go to every door to say trick or treat and get his candy and gifts. I loved that you posted separate pictures of the two of them on Instagram with their birthday balloons. My triplet sisters and I were born on our father's birthday, so every year it was like Christmas because of there being four of us celebrating. But every year there was one cake that said, "Happy Birthday Janet, JoAnne, Jean and Dad". I didn't get a birthday cake with just MY name on it until I turned 19 and had my first job. I am pretty sure their birthdays are in the same day I got my positive pregnancy test, I struggled with my pregnancy due to sickness and just being generally exhausted!!! You need to set a boundary w/ Flynn. It’s not his birthday, it’s his siblings birthday. Just because you feel bad because he’s not going to be able to open gifts? He has his own birthday and Christmas coming up where he will be able to open his own presents. You’re setting him up to expect at least one present when it’s someone else’s birthday. You need to teach him that other people have their own special day, it’s not always about him.
