Hello Family and Friends, as some of you may know Joey has been so strong during his journey with Esophageal Adenocarcinoma Stage 3b Cancer.
He had his first round of Chemo and radiation for 8 weeks, followed by another 2 weeks.
Joey has been complaining of his head hurting for the last 2 weeks. When he went to the hospital they gave him medication for a potential migraine and scheduled an MRI for further review.
The day after his last radiation he began to vomit blood, Theresa immediately brought him to Huntington Hospital. After many Doctors and Tests, they have found that the cancer has become far too aggressive and has spread.
He is very weak and currently struggling physically. Although we are doing everything that we can to get him the best help possible and have given it to GOD, we are not sure how much more time we have with him.
As we know Joey, he has been the UPMOST positive, and optimistic through this entire journey. His wife Theresa has been by his side EVERY step of the way. His daughters have missed him but remain strong just like Joey asks.
Joey and his family need help at this time. If there is anything you can donate every little bit counts! We want to be sure he's comfortable while getting the BEST care possible!
