Celebrating KTLA 5 Morning News’ 30th anniversary with Henry DiCarlo

Happy Birthday/Anniversary Henry deCarlo. I have lots of honor and respect for you. I love the work you do with CHOC hospital. That hospital is very meaningful to me. I was a patient there back in 1975. I still remember the great nurses and doctors and compassion and love they have for the patient. Few years ago I volunteered in the playroom. As well as was a cuddler in the NICU. If you ever do a personal appearance in the orange county area please let it be known. I’ll be honored to meet you.

I worked at CBS Studio Center when the KCBS/KCAL News dept came on the lot. Henry was probably the most engaging person of the on air group. We had several conversations both walking or just idle, and he showed genuine interest in me, what I did in the business, etc. I was sorry to see him leave the lot, but happy he landed on the best local station in town. Be good to you, Mr DiCarlo. 🙏

I love Henry. I turn on channel 5 news at 4am and he only works until 7am. I know he does a lot of charity work. He's a good man.

One of the reasons why we all love the the Carlo team is simply because Henry acts so relaxed and even if Chris Rob will messes him up Henry stays cool and Megan always looks fantastic and Ginger has total control and I love the channel 5 news team
