Celebrating One Year of WPW with 1989 Upper Deck Packs! Will the Ken Griffey, Jr. Rookie Appear?

Today we are celebrating one year of Wax Pack Wisdom producing content with a pack break of not one, not two, but THREE packs of 1989 Upper Deck! The Ken Griffey, Jr. rookie has eluded us for years, but maybe this time we'll get lucky with three cracks at the bat. We did pull a John Smoltz rookie from one of these packs last year, and no matter what doing this is always fun. If we can't get Griffey, will we get some other rookies? Or Hall of Famers? Watch to find out!

Congrats on the milestone! Griffey was one of my favorite players (Eric Davis was #1) and i have quite a few cards of his, including this rookie. Maybe you'll pull it next time😊

Hope you pull Griffey Jr. soon. I got into cards in '90, buying Upper Deck. At that time the '89 ones shot up in price because of Griffey. The local card shop sold individual packs of '89 and I'll remember this forever, but I was going to buy a pack of '89, opted to get something else. The next kid bought it, opened it there and there were 2 Griffeys back to back in that pack. Should have given up cards at that point. lol
