Today we celebrating Ringo Starr’s 83rd birthday. He’s the drummer from the world famous rock band the Beatles it’s an annual birthday party at his peace and love statue in Beverly Hills he invited the public to come and raise the peace sign at exact 12 o’clock. Other Rockstars showed up from the famous band, the eagles and Tom Petty, and the Heartbreakers. What a great day it was.

@@xx-vw9ep Thank you for your transmission from the Land of DUH! As a former music critic, I probably have an inkling that The Beatles created a bit of music. I was commenting on their fame, because it was probably 20 years ago now that Ringo made an announcement with "Peace & Love" that he would no longer accept any packages or anything sent to him to be autographed. It didn't take long before he changed his mind, but clearly the two remaining Beatles have experienced a level of fame (OBVIOUSLY from the enduring power of their music) that few people in history have or will ever experience, and have managed to deal with it with enormous grace and skill.

Also, I don't think that Daisy Fuentes was ever a professional volleyball player, but rather she was one of the early MTV video-disc jockeys who later became a model and got into other businesses as well. About Joe Walsh, his cousin "John" has been one of my best friends since the 5th grade, or for the past 55 years. John mostly plays guitar and composes these days, but was a damned good drummer into his 20s before switching instruments. Our friends kept pushing John to ask Joe for an audition for his band, but he never did. 😞

Ringo was very sickly when he was a child, always in and out of hospitals, his parents never thought he would live a long life, and yet here he is, 83 years young and considered one of the most influential people in the history of the world, literally a man who changed not just the music world, but all the world!

@@metalmike570 Fact...Ringo didn't play drums on any tracks from 1962-1966. George Martin said all the lads weren't that musically talented or talented songwriters and chose to not work with them the first time around. Professional session musicians played all instruments laid down tracks and sent them to Martin and then called the lads in to sing on the tracks. Sage of Quay channel has the most outstanding research on the Beatles from beginning to end.

@@cheyenne7724 Ringo is no Neil Peart, John Bonham or Buddy Rich. But the 4 piece band blueprint belongs to the Beatles. In an interview someone asked Dave Grohl about the Beatles and rock n' roll music and he answered "well that is the blueprint." Exactly, and they are the number one selling band in the world as far as records go. So many bands had a 4 piece model after the Beatles and everyone knows the Beatles - their music and production are simply excellent.

George Martin was the impeccable master of the production for the Beatles. Social engineering by Tavistock chose the lads by way of Brian Epstein to Martin. To bring counter culture to influence the masses. Anti-Christianity glamorize psychedelics the music the clothing etc. The Blue print was manufactured wasn't organic. But you are right the best selling band for records. Martin had mentioned when he met the lads he wasn't impressed with their writing or playing skills just ok. Martin had no choice. Professional session musicians played and put down tracks first 4 yrs on albums. The lads however over years their playing got better only through time. Martin was least impressed w/Ringo. Professional song writers wrote the majority of their songs. The rooftop filming of "Get Back" that was Billy Shears, Billy Williams William Campbell same guy who is then and now Paul. Billy is 6'1" and real Paul was 5'10". If you listen to "Revolver" the bass is different. Real Paul and Billy both played on the record. Sage of Quay has a channel on the lads history, quite fascinating and eye opening on the history of the Beatles.

Joe Walsh has stood up remarkably well as well, especially for his famed lifestyle!!! Those are the legends of our rock n roll times n I feel VERY happy that some of us are still kicking it even at this old age (66)!!!! I was totally blessed to have grown in up during those formative rock years as the music 🎶 set the pace for my soul for my entire life!!! Not every generation has that!!!! I can't believe Richard Starkey is 83 and looks sooo fabulous!!! He always had charm, humour n ambling likeability, not to mention great style n looks!!! It is amazing he is touring with his All Star Band all over. I had the famous four photos that came with the White Album, one of my favorites, mounted on the wall next to my bed when I was 13, n my Mom totally loved the Beatles, ergo, I as well, n I am a singer n have sung renditions of many Beatles tunes over the years, and remember the words to almost every song they ever did to this day!!! We even had the Beatles bubblegum cards (wish I still did)!!! Happy Birthday Ringo Starr, which you truly are and always will be!!!!

It was exciting to anticipate the next Beatles record, and then to hurry down to the local record shop to buy it, take it home and put it onto the old hi-fi (pre-stereo). I have a wide range of music appreciation, which I acquired over the decades. Perhaps someday you'll get to like Beatles music.
