It's crazy how hot some countries are getting. Right now in Europe we actually go North during the summer, looking for mild temperatures like in Sweden, the Netherlands or Scotland.

osaka for the whole summer. Its as hot as tokyo is. 36 today and will have the ac on 24 hrs. I feel the need to go to bangkok as its cooler there right now

I love Tokyo, but the amount of things to do is _overwhelming_. I was also coming off a very stressful and exhausting work situation while in Japan; just didn't have the mental bandwidth to figure out what to see and do during my limited free time. Watching your videos helped me SO MUCH!!!!! I super appreciate that these videos don't gate-keep and you include names and addresses of the cool places to go. Enjoyed your video very much. My wife and I wrapped up our 3-weeks trip to Japan with the Sumida River fireworks (as always). Frustrated by the fact that the organizer wouldn't let people watch from the river edge but it was still a great show. (We actually prefer Nagoya's firework because it is right in front of you on the water front.)

The Tokyo Tocho in Shinjuku also has free observation decks. It is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The two observation decks are north and south.
