I regret not following him while he was still alive, nevertheless his music is definitely eternal and he put his soul into making it💞 felt like I knew him. rest easy❤️

I remember being really sad when he died. I was 15, had only listened to his most known songs. So I started listening more, to every album, mixtape, interview with him. Everything. I miss this man so much. I regret not seeing him live or appreciating him while he was here. I’m now 22 and I’m so glad he was here at all. His music has gotten me through the darkest moments of my life. I can’t wait to show my kids this beautiful soul and the magic he created ❤

No one probably will ever read this "Donald Trump" was the first song I've listened to from Mac, i just found it funny and thought it was good but didn't think too much of it. A couple years later and i got better at English and could understand more of lyrics of songs. I reached my lowest and really was done with everything, until i doscovered Mac made more then just Donald Trump, i could relate even tho my english wasnt that well. But you didnt need to, Mac made music where you can feel everything he gone trough. Mac helped me the way up and i was shattered when i heard he passed. Its sad we never got the fully evolved Mac we couldve gotten. But im pretty sure Mac will live on forever in our hearts. He deserves his rest.♥️✌🏼if anyone reading this is going through something i wish you the best. We need to stand together and talk about our feelings more ♥️

Noone believe death is real until its a close friend or family members. Yall knew who has issues with substance abuse a long time ago. u tell that man he has issues cus u might lose a friend u butt out. True friends fight for their friends to change or even drop him at a clinic..talk to close family members probably could have saved his life. At the same time u gotta take initiative to change your bad habits before they consume you and thats what happened. The first time I heard Mac Miller was during the summer of 2012, back when i was still smoking weed everyday. It was either Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza or Keep Smoking ft Wiz Khalifa. His music brought me so many great vibes that summer, it's unreal. I went on to listen to bunch of his songs on KZbin, and eventually discovered Kendrick trough him on Fight The Feeling. Kendrick blew my mind woth his style, so I looked HIS shit up and end up discovering Black Hippy and most notoriously Ab-Soul, who I became a huge fan of! Then Mac ends up working with Soulo on a bunch of songs that I fuck with HEAVY! Mac then went on to produce and feature on pretty much Ab-Soul's hardest track to date The End Is Near. That track is so fucking fire. I got so many memories from listening to all their music. But I knew he was a druggy tho. Great creative talent but he abused drugs, heavy. For that he paid the price.Im not too surprised it happened co sidering I saw the decline in his mental state over the years. He went from a fairly clean cut Pittsburg kid that was rapping about Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza and smoking weed, to becoming a heavily tatted and darker looking dude rapping about existential shit and darker themes. He really covered himself up in ink over time, and that's when I knew that ishit was going downhill for him. It finally led to this, and OD. I wouldnt be surprised if it was intentional either. RIP

I read a comment recently that stated, in essence, When us common folk are addicts, we are pieces of shit but when it's a celebrity it's sad. I HEARD that but, at the same time, what better way to get the message out that these aren't inherently shitty people doing drugs, they are VERY HURT PEOPLE using a mechanism to cope that is both helpful only in the moment to them but hurtful to them AND everyone that loves them in the long term if not arrested and the energy transmuted. Everyone performs some type of "escapism" to just forget for a while. Sex, money, drugs (street, prescribed, OTC, manufactured, etc), porn, caffeine, inhalants, video games, fantasy worlds, work, control, shopping, tobacco, OCD, "eating" disorders, gambling, appearances, shoplifting, internet and phone, social media, I could go on and on and it covers SO MANY THINGS; So to judge someone JUST BECAUSE you THINK your form is "better than" someone else's is........not where the focus should be and it shows who YOU are and where you are at with things in your own life.

I don't wanna say it's the fault of Ariana because it isn't but come on ... you could se it from miles away that he was sooo in love with her. She was the whole world to him. It was absolutely her right to break up with him because love isn't slavery but she for sure knew about his addiction and that it would be very difficult for him so she shouldn't move on so quickly, acting like nothing happened and engaging with someone else SO QUICKLY. Like I said it wasn't het fault for sure but I strongly doubt that he would've done it if he had some help, if she acted normal and wouldn't move on so fast just to show she's stronger than him. I also hope that everyone who is strongly in love with someone else sees this story as a lesson that drugs isn't always the solution, that it really isn't worth to sacrifice your own beautiful life to whoever. Even if you love that person. You still have many people to live for, many things to accomplish and still many people who love you and who will love you. Mostly I don't really care so much when a celebrity dies but I followed his story just because I also had a breakup and saw Mac Miller as my idol kinda in this way : ''We gonna move on together and I'm happy he's moving on, making an album, going forward so I'm gonna do it too.'' So after thinking like this this news kinda devastated me but I know the solution he chose is a shit solution so I'm gonna go the other way and change my life positively and hope all people who are facing this type of situation will do it !
