Doesn’t matter who you are, whether a Hollywood celebrity or just your average American, rich or poor. when a fire destroys all you have, all your memories and family pictures, precious things that have a lifetime of memories attached to them you are devastated. Money can rebuild a home but no amount of money can replace old photos, letters from beloved friends and family, artwork from kids, your computer that stored all your photos and videos from the past 20 years etc. i pray for all who have suffered the loss of their home and belongings. Not everyone can afford to rebuild and for some this devastation will be the end of them. Yes the rich can recover easier than the poor but they have lost everything that was most precious just as the poor person. The pain and loss hurts the same.

I’ve had it on my dresser for 12 years now. If I lost it no amount of money or wishes could get it back. Also time is something we all know that we can’t get back. The time it will take to rebuild is time they could be making happy memories with family now the memories they have now and for months will be their community trying to rebuild. Time is something we all can agree money can’t buy. Money can’t buy a home with memories. I’m just so flabbergasted by the way our society is acting during such a terrible situation. Instead of sending positive vibes, energy and prayers to everyone affected by this horrific tragedy we have comments from people picking and choosing who should be worthy of sympathy based on how much money they have. A lot of these celebrities y’all are being so heartless towards has donated money and their time plenty of times to help their communities and victims of different events. I just want everyone that is being so heartless towards the people who are well off to stop and thing before you speak and think about what I said about having things money can’t buy. Think of just one thing you own that money can’t replace and how you would feel if you no longer had that item and then think about those feelings of sadness and hurt and multiply it by 100 that is how these people feel in California that has lost everything. Rich or poor we are all human beings with feelings and we all have things that money can’t buy. I guarantee you all have something that money can’t buy. Try to be more kind, empathetic and understanding of others feelings and their situation. Pray for everyone not just the poor and middle class. ❤ 🙏

Reading the comments shows how many people don't know how rich the neighborhoods affected by the fire are, makes sense why so many Celebrities speak up cause it's finally affecting them now. Either way as a person living the poorest county in LA not anywhere near the fire, thank you for expressing your concern of my well-being, I'm doing fine but I am worried about loosing power.

In 1993 my future father-in-law was a State Farm fire insurance inspector and had to stay in LA for 6 months working in fire claims. We are all from Minnesota and flew down to visit him because he was alone for so long. My future husband and I were 19. First time ever to CA. “Bob” told us he met Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito, and a few others. I remember driving to Malibu, to Sunset Blvd, to all those areas that are now gone from a fire, ironically.
