This option of window sealed balcony is so much better Than an open balcony. We always pay for open balconies and rarely use it since it seems we are always getting direct sun, wind for that salty ocean mist on the table and chairs. This new style is the best!

Thank you this was super helpful because I was looking to book them for a cruise but I wasn’t sure because they have a good reviews. But definitely think I would like activities to do. I think they are good if you’re looking for a more laid back relaxed cruise

I guess laid-back and relaxed is relative because this ship is pretty active in terms of what goes on at the pool and martini bar. Does Celebrity do towel animals? They didn't when I sailed them. But I haven't sailed them in over 10 years. I've been on the Apex but it wasn't a sailing.

@@benjaminsmith2287 we've been cruising on Celebrity since our early 30s, and never felt bored or ran out of things to do, but then the likes of Carnival or Royal are too much for us.

Spot on review. We are on the Beyond right now and can't wait to get off. This is not the elevated experience they advertise. It's a tad above boring and the food is below average for our taste.

Yes! I totally agree with the mike comment! Did you go to a good travel agent before you booked on Celebrity? It is not for everyone.

If you want to be on vacation and not dress up then why pick this line? I try to compliment the atmosphere. You dress for weddings even if you are on vacation and other events and if you're going to a fine restaurant, or even a decent one, you hopefully don't dress like you're going to a camp or sporting event. The stateroom windows are noisy and slow and the stateroom and hallway are all pretty much shades of beige and gray. So is the staircase. I really don't understand how this boring decor is called attractive by so many people. This class of Celebrity ship is so overrated IMO vs. the previous classes.

I know… For the longest time I was afraid of using the DJI mic because I was afraid of losing the audio and having to scrap an entire video. But yes I do agree and very much appreciate your honest feedback. I guess the DJI mic should be fine but if you have any mic recommendations that are fool proof I’m all ears.

@@Hangin-with-Mindy With the exception of music my videos are silent Lol. I have heard really good things about the DJI mic and I have seen a large number of people using them. Looks like the Action 5 is going to drop soon

Cool, DJI mic it is! Your comment gave me the kick in the butt I needed to pull out the DJI mic and get over my fear of losing audio. Wasn't aware of the Action 5 but I was aware of the Neo Drone. We pre-ordered it, can't wait (not sure how people already have it) We have the DJI Mini 2 Drone but was never able to use it because it seems everywhere we go is a no-fly zone, including my neighborhood. Hopefully that won't we be the case with the Neo. Because I use a GoPro I never looked into the DJI Action cameras. Do you prefer DJI Action cameras over GoPro?

@@Hangin-with-Mindy Its a real toss up. On most of our cruises I use both. What I do really like with GP is the GoPro Labs Firmware. It gives you so many more options. In a few weeks I'll be doing at 6 week time lapse at work, we are getting a new press and the install takes 6-7 weeks. I have the Mini 4 Pro. Luckily most areas I fly are OK, I don't have to worry about no fly zones. Can we get off the mic conversation and back to Celebrity Beyond. @Hangin with Mindy Really that boring? What about dress code in dining room. You said they told you shorts were ok cause short trip. How long a trip was it? Did others have on shorts at dinner? Really not looking forward to long pants in the Caribbean. Where people dressed up all evening? Is the sofa in your cabin covered in sheets? Curious. LOL
