We had the incredible opportunity to climb aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Adventure of the Seas FIRST sailing out of Nassau, Bahamas on June 12th, 2021. We were also onboard the FIRST sailing out of the US on Celebrity Edge on June 26th, 2021. Celebrity Cruise Lines was the first major North American cruise line that sailed from a North American port since March 2020. We were also on the first Carnival cruise out of Florida on July 4th Carnival Horizon sailing. We were on the Inaugural Season Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship maiden voyage sailing on July 31st! Oh my goodness I was so excited watching the tour you did of this ship!! I am in the process of picking out a cruise for my husband and I, and it's so difficult trying to decide. My husband is a retired Navy senior chief, who sailed for 26 years, I know that he has no idea how amazing this kind of cruising is, compared to what he did. Lol. I was on this ship for a Celebrity Wine Cruise back in 2014-ish...I recognize the lounge that is now all light and airy. It looked like an old men's club before, very dark. I like the new look!

My favourite Celebrity ship, spent 15 days sailing around the Caribbean islands in 2012 with my wife and friends for a joint 40th wedding.anniversary celebration. Everything about the ship and itinerary was wonderful, food, staff, islands and weather. We prefer the Connie to the Equinox we sailed around the whole med.

Nice video, many thanks. I've subscribed and I hope you keep up the good work and also perhaps tell and show more about cruise ship dance venues. I expect you're not dancers so have little natural interest but my wife and I are one of those couples up on any danceable surface to any danceable music, doing the Mambo between bar stools in tiny Latin bars sometimes. We're always looking for more and better venues, what the floors are like, what kind of music gets played, is it too loud, quiet, classical or jazzy to be danceable, and so on.

I have figured out over years of cruising that you can get the photographer to do some fun photos, rather than the standing type. We had one done chest up, the 4 of us hugging and laughing, it was a great casual photo. I just told the photographer I didn't want the stand ones, he did them anyone, and then he moved on to exactly what I told him to do.

not sure what needs renovating. I already don't like some of the changes while I like others. I was on the ship when it was probably 1 year old and some changes are upgrades, while others are downgrades IMO.

You called it a ''small ship'', but I consider Celestial Crystal as a small ship. This ship is huge for me but you are right that it is close to the water which is a big plus. I was thinking about going on a cruise again. I'm looking for different types of adventures, but this ship is a bit too heavy for me. I thought it was more suitable for middle age.

I sailed this ship when it was new and quite different than it is currently. I did Karaoke in what's now the general area of what's now the wine bar and Sushi on 5. It's a smaller ship but it isn't and it wasn't when I cruised. When I say it isn't, compare it to a 6 star ship and it's huge. It's just smaller than other mass-market cruise ships now, premium or not. It's a big ship. I need to stress this because ships are just getting larger and larger and what's considered "small" now used to be considered large. 90,000 tons was large when this ship was built. It wasn't gigantic, but it was large. It had one specialty dining room and the service and food was superb and special in it. It's gone now. I mean the ship is now 20 years old or so, maybe a bit younger, but there are a lot of changes. IMO, ships should last at least 45 years so I don't consider this ship old. Unfortunately, the industry does and that's very unfortunate. The Rendezvous lounge is crucial to the ship as a main place to hang out. It looks a mess here probably because of all the art everywhere. Martini Bar is a nice addition because the original one was situated above the Rendezvous with a small overlook and there wasn't much going on up there most of the time. So closing it off and making it a new area made sense. The Solstice restaurants were added. Everything seems well done in terms of additions. Cafe al Bacio was originally Cova. I'm not sure Cafe al Bacio it's any better than the original. Maybe a bit less elegant. The area on the other side of the Sushi restaurant doesn't look that much different than the original except for the upholstery colors and the carpeting. What was downgraded are the light fixtures above the bar and the style of the bar was more 1940s. Still, the furniture is pretty much the same. It's fine. They also added curtains to segment the seating area which I think is an improvement rather than the wide open area it used to be. The new light fixtures are changed to match Sushi on 5 so that makes sense. Well, here the original, magnificent and elegant dining room is intact. But I have a bad feeling what was done to the Millennium will happen in this dining room. Some things are best left alone. I hope Celebrity rethinks redesigning this timeless magnificent space. Thanks for the tour. I wish you showed a bit more of the Reflection lounge. It's different in colors and some of the furniture but the overall layout is the same. I prefer the original. It just suited the style/vintage of the ship better IMO. Some changes I prefer, others not so much.

Having been on a revolutionized ship of the same class (Summit), I'm gonna disagree with you on that - Connie is fine as is. No World or Murano restaurants on this class ship - you need to book on a Solstice class ship for those.

Connie is not a younger crowd usually. The best bet for younger crowds are 5 days or less sailings or 7 night Edge Class Sailings. 🥳

@Ellie Brown We saw a mix of formal dresses and gowns with men in suits to others in nicer casual wear like dark denim or khakis with a polo or dress shirt and women in a blouse and nice pants or sun dress for formal nights. Dress the way you wish to dress for formal night whether it is more formal or more dressy casual and you will find others who dress similarly as well onboard Constellation. ☺️ As for all other nights, clean casual such as jeans without holes and a collared shirt for men or a sweater for colder itineraries and jeans or casual pants with a blouse or sweater for women work well! The main things not to wear are shorts, flip flops, hats, swim suits, tank tops or denim with holes. Hope this helps! 🤗

The staff were all outstanding and the food etc amazing. We have never been so relaxed in our lives! Have a wonderful time!
