We were on the Millennium in February about two weeks after you. We got to the terminal 90 minutes early so we sat outside. A cruise employee asked us why we weren't coming in. From the time we left the shuttle until we got to the room was 15 minutes. Really great staff at Fort Lauderdale and Celebrity. Our cabin steward welcomed us to our room and in 20 minutes, we were through the muster process. So welcoming and efficient. Our major error was NOT doing a back to back. Instead, we took the second cruise on NCL where our experience was the complete opposite. Great video.

That was really fast embarkation for sure, and very similar to what we experienced also. It does help for sure to get there early like you did, which was what we did as well. So big kudos to the Celebrity team at this terminal. Thanks for sharing your experience!

They'll usually start boarding around 11 am, so if you're there a bit before 10 am you could be one of the first few groups to board. Have a wonderful first cruise! 🙂

The parking garage and lots are right next to the terminal building, and the cost was $15 daily.

On the larger ships, you can easily walk 5-10 miles a day. Add 30-40 flights of steps and your weight gain will be minimal.

Yeah it's not easy lol. We try not to eat too much carbs, and also take the stairs instead of the elevators.
