The best thing about Australia are the people,I went to college with two Australian sisters,they were the funniest and happiest girls ever. Years later I would entertain clients from Australia,the greatest folks I have ever known!

Glad you got your see the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. It and the Australia zoo were highlights of our Australia vacation. We held the koalas at lone pine in 2019 and their web page still shows that it is an extra charge option. I believe they are the only place still authorized to allow holding Koalas. We did it independently with an inclusive river cruise from downtown Brisbane for less than $100 for both of us so the $200 excursion is excessive and surprised they didn’t arrange the koala holding photo Op or at least provide instructions. By the way, We did pet the Emu 😂

Hi Zach, we sailed on this cruise too, I agree Celebrity Edge is a great ship, but we had some issues which dissatisfied us, such as the food in the main dining restaurants, was not good, also the entertainment at the theatre was not to our taste, did not vary much and was often over 76 decibels, too loud for us, also we had an issue with our balcony cabin midship on deck 7 was making banging and knocking noices due to the swells which surpriced us, had very long queues, the full length of the ship on port tender days of which there were many. But saying that we loved eden and the sanctuary, have rebooked two more cruises on her, sorry to have missed you as we follow your comments, it was a pity so many days it rained on port days but that was ok, best wishes, David from NZ.

I sailed on Edge on its 13th cruise in the Caribbean before the pandemic and absolutely loved it. Glad you enjoyed Australia (Brisbane is my home town) but sorry the weather was not at its best. I’m sailing on Equinox in Spain in July this year and looking forward to another Celebrity cruise. Thanks for your review

Thanks for the video Zach. I’ve sailed on Edge 3 times (my favourite ship) and am still to eat at Eden cafe.😮 When you mentioned pulled pork sliders I nearly cried. I love pulled pork sliders.😂

Thanks Zach! Excellent video! Celebrity's Edge-class ships are beautiful. We love Solstice-class, but have to admit that Eden is always great! We really wish they had stairs into the Solariaum pool, and we're not the biggest fans of the Infinite Veranda ...not a complete non-starter for us as we've booked our 3rd Apex cruise (in an AQ1 Infinite Veranda) but it's not a "delight-er" in our view.

We sailed the Edge to Adelaide in April Zac. Did you find the beds too firm? My wife and I had terrible sleep for a few days and were told that all the toppers were gone. In the end we asked for sunlounge toppers from the Solarium to soften the bed and they worked!!! So much for the blurb on the comfort of their cashmere mattresses.

Emu's are SO cool Koalas are really not friendly in the wild. Sanctuary are different because they can't be in the wild. True Sanctuary's are REALLY good and you can tell they limit "interaction" with them. Those are the "ambassadors"
